Please help - we go through so many non stick trays. Our 1 year old le creuset ones (bought in the false hope that expense = durability) are on their way out, despite never having seen a metal implement or the dishwasher as per instructions.

YABU give you hope now

YANBU yes, of course they exist, here's my recommendation..

I bought this one earlier this year and it seems to be doing well.

You are all wrong. What you need are non-stick grill mats. These are an example from Amazon, but there are loads of similar ones.

Deal: EXTSUD BBQ Grill Mat, 5 Pcs bbq Grill Mats Non Stick Reusable and Baking Mesh for Indoor Outdoor BBQ Works on Gas Charcoal Electric Grill Sheets 40x33CM (Black) amzn.eu/d/8oPMjnn

Use them to line whatever tray you have, instant non stick. They are cheap, last ages, clean easily in either the sink or dishwasher and can be cut to size. Nothing sticks to them, ever. Just wonderful.

That said - I've got a circulon tray and a kitchen craft one, both decent and both over 10 years old. The circulon one is better though.

Those of you saying Pyrex. Do you mean the “magic” ones. Been thought six in a few years. Not that great tbh. Do use dishwasher though

No, we mean the actual glass ones.

These.

Have had the same stainless steel ones for ages, just soak them while eating and use wire wool to scrub. I hate non stick pans.

cunningartificer · 17/08/2022 09:27

Another vote for Sainsbury's cheapest. Amazed by their durability and they go in the dishwasher as well!

Fimofriend · 17/08/2022 09:30

Raadvad. We had our previous set for 20+ years.

mogtheexcellent · 17/08/2022 09:48

My sainsburys enamel ones are doing great after 10 years.

My mums pyrex are good too.

Sallylovesdaisy · 17/08/2022 14:19

I got mine from The Original Factory Shop, they're enamel and brilliant. I think they were about £5, but that was a couple of years ago.
Someone mentioned Scoville from Asda, I've got the wok, and pan set and the trays must be good, as my pans a fantastic!

Oxo01 · 17/08/2022 14:22

Stoville are great

MarsupiIami · 17/08/2022 14:25

I'm quite glad you said that about your le creuset because mine is the same! I thought I'd done something.
