Only get them on subscription with a free gift! Recently got a tatler subscription for £19 for a year with a £20 harvey nicks beauty voucher which was worth it. Would never pay the shelf price.

I do.
I’ve never bought any of the women’s magazines. I’m not interested in lifestyle or celebrity articles. But I love history, natural history and science. I have a subscription to BBC Wildlife which is my favourite thing to read. I also have a subscription to BBC History. And then I often pick up other history magazines if the topic interests me, and the same for National Geographic. When I’ve finished them I take them to school and the children use them for cutting and sticking.

I bought Take a Break once to pass the time on a bus journey. One story was about two women fighting over a guy who was called a "sex god". There was a picture on the front cover of him guzzling a burger.

I suspect only old people do now.

... whilst sitting around doctor's waiting rooms, the only alternative being a loud ticking clock to look at. 😷
