My sin: I went to a Wetherspoons whilst on holiday in England. Not once, but twice The food was great and I have 3 children with very restricted tastes in food. I'm the same so the menu suited us all. I feel bad about going there knowing the mumsnet consensus on the guy who runs Wetherspoons but it met our needs. I am a Catholic and feel like I need to say a few Hail Marys as a result.

What are your mumsnet sins?

What tickles me is that no one bats an eyelid about food waste due to BLW. But a cake smash is an atrocity.

I don't mind visitors pooing in my toilet, I know that one of the recent workmen I had in did one every morning. 😱

I did not faint or seethe about it, or fumigate the whole house, if you gotta go, you gotta go. 😁

I use a toilet brush. Just how do people clean the sh*t marks or remove the limescale? Imagine leaving a mark in someone's loo and there being no brush!! What are you supposed to do?

My kids eat treats every day too. None of them are overweight and 2 are fit as.

I don't clean my house from top to bottom and change all the beds before going on holiday. I work full time and have to pack - that in itself is enough. Was astounded the other week at the number of people who somehow manage to give their house a massive spring clean before going away.

I like sitting out in the sun which seems another big MN no-no.

My kids have way too much screen time and I don't particularly care. They do sports and hang out with friends and when they are not doing those things or are not at school they have as much screen time as they like.

I had a one night stand with a 19 year old when I was 42 - at his instigation - we’re still Facebook friends and he’s happily in a relationship with an age appropriate partner so I’m pretty confident it didn’t scar him for life.

Nothing wrong with any of that unless young people's avocado toast spending is being commented on

Apparently boomers are responsible for pulling up the ladder so none of the youngsters will ever get what me and millions of other older ones have. We are so selfish.

They may be right but none of what I do have just fell into my lap one day, I worked, saved and did without a lot of things to get here.

I will be passing a lot of it down though, many younger ones will inherit in the future from us, my niece will and so will some other youngsters I am close to.

I've never spat my tea out.

I've been known to pull up in front of other people's driveways for a couple of minutes when I need to look up directions.

I use a toilet brush. Unless you're planning on stirring your tea with it, I don't get the argument about them being unhygienic. Just give them a whirl round in a bucket of soapy water if you want it kept clean fgs
