DH is looking at Twitter and it's obviously about Prince William's alleged affair but can't figure out where it's coming from now all of a sudden. Anyone in the know?

I wonder how they'll feel about these tactics when they're older?

I know it's always been thus but in a world where social media demands so much more of this kind of thing, the cynical nature of the distraction techniques are blindingly apparent. Will Charlotte be forgiving of all this when she realises how she's been utilised here?

so she came in with a security crew of unknown number (absolutely normal considering her status) and distributed supplies. Considering they thought she was a neighbor it doesn’t sound like her crew was particularly sizable either. Indeed most reports seem to say she had one bodyguard with her, so it’s likely she joined one of the volunteer crews.

Eveb on here people post things and when someone points out a fact and they are wrong they don't apologise , they just ignore be it those on MM / PH side or those against etc

Any reference to it is odd, given the circs. I'd say Pippa wanted to call her child Rose for her own reasons and to hell with any sordid gossip about her BIL.

I don't believe it mainly because Pippa named her new baby Rose. She and Kate are close and I don't believe she'd use that name if there was any truth in it.

I did wonder though if these rumours were why PW didn't take either of his oldest children to the EC Final yesterday, in case there was some kind of crowd chanting or something.

No family can be as functional as the Middletons try to convey. Certainly, amongst all my friends (predominately stable middle-classes), all our families are dysfunctional or with some deep issues despite outward picture perfect images that boomer-parents try to maintain.

@LondonWolf I don't believe that a man would marry a woman he doesn't love whilst maintaining a relationship with an aristocratic woman who if we are to believed was cucked by her husband to the heir of the throne and broadcasting this to a billion people worldwide. But there we are. The Middletons having brought up their daughters to marry a super rich Hedgie and the Heir to the throne are nothing if not consummate and perfectionist social climbers and I would rule nothing out.
