To think this is a ridiculous amount of toilet rolls weekly???

With the price increases of generally everything it's bugging the life out me even more than it did previously. I've always said my household use far too many per week but surely 9 per week is excessive. We are a family of 3, DC, husband and myself. It's definitely not my DC using excessive amounts or putting some down the toilet etc because DC likes an audience when doing the toilet and likes reassurance she is wiping correctly.

Just me - use Regina chamomile - buy it on special offer from wilko - last time was 9 rolls for £3. One roll lasts just over 2 weeks- good quality quilted paper.

12 of us in our house and we only use 2 rolls per week. We have a wonderful wild garden full of dock leaves so jobby done (pardon the pun)

Two of us here and use about 3 each a week. Always bought the same brand...price gone up and sure there's less in a roll!

I'm with the poster who uses Who gives a crap. 48 rolls lasts us about 7 months, 2 adults 2 tween girls. I think the quality is good. Soft enough for blowing noses too. It also disintegrates well so less likely to cause a blockage, which I like as we have a saniflow in one bathroom.

48 who gives a crap box lasts us just under 3 months so I’d say 4-5 rolls a week here for 4 of us

2 adults, one who uses loads of loo roll for nose, 7 a week. Costcos own which is decent quality.
Not something I'm prepared to try cut down on. I think there are other ways to save.

Also 9 rolls a week for 3 of us here. It’s my husbands fault 100%, I swear he uses half a roll each morning..

There are two of us and we get through about one roll a week of the who gives a crap recycled stuff.

Three adults here. We use about one roll a day, mostly because DS has chronic rhinitis so uses acres of it to blow his nose 🙄

I like the double Aldi ones, seem to last longer than normal ones

Some things should just be exempt from cost cutting frugality imho.

We use about 7 between the three of us. Dh likes to point out I use to much. I use as much as is required to be clean and I really cannot be doing with being criticised for wiping my own arse.

Tesco double rolls pack of 12 every 2 weeks, we use quite a lot of loo roll as I have IBS and wee a lot, I'll not be rationing bog roll

The amount of toilet paper per roll is just silly these days. They make the tube in the middle larger and the amount of paper gets smaller. I wish they would make decent sized rolls and charge more because its annoying having to buy/store/change rolls more often.

Am I the only one who has no idea how many rolls we use a week. I buy packs of 24 and buy another when it’s running out. No idea how long a pack lasts though.

We are a family of three. A pack of nine takes us ages to get through. Easily 5-6 weeks I think.

I think our family of 2 use that! I wfh and am always having a wee!

We're another family who uses Who Gives A Crap and their 48 rolls lasts us approx 7 months (3 of us)

How often do the people using one roll a week wee! I go at least every 2 hours, possibly more , I constantly have a drink in my hand (tea or water not vino!). It's a constant process for me in and out !

Some of these replies are making me laugh.
You either monitor everyone's usage or you just carry on.

Some people do sloppies which need extra paper. Some toilet roll is so thin it disintegrates on contact.

And I agree that 'Who gives a crap' is dire. Got through it like a dose of salts. ( Please excuse!)
