Covid positive - would you go to a hospital appointment?

Have been testing positive for Covid since saturday but have a hospital appointment today. Just tested and still positive. DH thinks I should still go because they are hard to get and we're now living with it. NHs website still tells you to isolate. It doesnt feel quite right to me. What would others do?

My dad has just been in for a biopsy a couple of days ago and there was strict covid procedure in place before hand. He had to take an LFT test 48 hrs before the biopsy, register the results and show these on the day of admission. As a precaution him and mum also isolated for a week before the procedure. I'm shocked your dh thought you could rock up to hospital with covid to be honest.
