Hello all

Any tips please

She is the absolute worst

It's been 3 months now and it's to the point where she is a total bully

Take it and say nothing and just eventually leave

Or speak out?

So far I have done nothing wrong but hand one thing in late ( I warned her in advance it may be late)

So down today 😢😡😡😡

Awful experience

My gut said to try somewhere else at the time

Anyway luckily I can get work elsewhere
Feel bad for the people working under that wagon

Plus I still have their laptop

Offer her a 10% credit and get her to pay up and take the Co to smalls claims court if necessary. If you have invoiced they need to have a valid contractual reason to withhold payment

catandcoffee · 12/08/2022 21:11

Do NOT let her get away with not paying you. There is nothing she can do to you, as you don't work for her anymore.

Come on OP fight her for your money

Queenie6655 · 12/08/2022 21:18

I'm avoiding speaking to her she speaks to me like dirt on the floor

Never seen the like of it
Been doing this work for over ten years
Never had these kind of complaints from anyone before

Very very harsh

Take them to small claims for your wages.

Ensure you have copies of all approval for the reports you did.

Watapalava · 12/08/2022 21:28

I would not return the laptop until you’ve been paid

This is from a freelance Facebook group, it’s a couple of years old but hopefully this company or other solicitor can help:

To chase UNPAID INVOICES it's possible to useThomas Higgins online solicitors - costs £3 for them to send a letter before action and no obligation to use them to recover the debt. 99% of people pay the day they get the letter"

Queenie6655 · 13/08/2022 13:25

No way this is amazing

Thanks so so very much

I really felt like why battle an idiot like that and just walk off with the loss

I only just started so any wonder some of the work was not as it should have been (ten per cent)
Still not ok to not pay me anything fckers !!!!!
