Really it’s 19 and there’s a breeze. It might get up to 23 on Monday. I’m grateful as I don’t do heat. But The Heat isn’t everywhere. We’ve been walking the do in the day and I’m contemplating taking a cardi out with me tonight for the walk home from the pub…

Thank you! I am sick to death of hearing and reading about "this heat"! I'm in NI it was 20° today. It might 22/tomorrow 🙄. I love hot weather! I wish at least one person would have the good grace to appreciate the sunshine and feel a bit sorry for us under the grey clouds 😭🌫

Also NI. Would very much like to leave a jacket at home, thanks. And my cardi. And wear sandals...

Lovely here but not too hot south cumbria. We’re still sleeping under our winter duvet joys of living in barn.

It's been nice today - 26 but I get shade on my lawn in the afternoon so just pleasant . We go up to 39 on Monday though (midlands )

I am northwest and it was hot this afternoon, about 27, but it is cooker now the sun has set. But we are due 31 tomorrow and 38 on Monday apparently

Has been pretty hot here today (S Glos) up to about 27C. Down to 20C now, and with all doors and windows open it feels v pleasant. We have a family barbecue planned for tomorrow so today tried to buy a garden parasol for extra shade - no chance, totally sold out everywhere. We have quite a lot of shade in the garden so hopefully will be OK. Mid thirties forecast for next couple of days here then back to usual by Thursday.

West Cumbria. I absolutely understand that what is coming is unprecedented and a risk to life etc but it boils my piss when I see headlines such as "UK to experience" or "Britain braces" in UK based media. Southern bias again and again.

It's the same in the winter when we get 80 mph winds and just call it Tuesday but when it happens down south it's like the apocalypse.

It's rained here at some point early morning. I'm going to take advantage of it being dry and warm the rest of the day to do some gardening. If it's baking Monday/Tuesday I have the option to go into an air-conditioned office rather than melt at home.

16 degrees and raining where I am in Scotland. The temperature is forecast to peak at 22 degrees over the next couple of days. Our weather never seems to bear any resemblance to the British weather in the sensational headlines.

I'm also in the Northwest it was hot yesterday, to-day its very pleasant and tomorrow its going to be 34 degrees .
