Pet sales until all rehomeable ones have found new homes.

MirrorMirror1247 · 15/07/2022 08:24

I'd ban fake tan and sunbeds. Unnecessary.

HelloBunny · 15/07/2022 08:25

Men pissing in the street. I know it’s already banned. But, where I love the smell is becoming unbearable.

Cosmetic procedures and gender reassignment surgery for the under 25's

Child maintenance dodgers from participating in society & have a rogues gallery to name & shame them. Make the fuckers pay for the kids that they made.

Quite! If I hadn't have had my ears pinned back aged 5 I'd have been able to pick up sky tv for free with my bat ears 😆

“Athleisure” wear on anyone who’s not going to a gym, coming back from a gym, or in a gym, and who has clearly never been to a gym.

CuriousCatfish · 15/07/2022 08:30

The word 'chav'

Do we really need to sell water in plastic bottles or plastic bags containing 5 apples(say)?

Not ban but regulate the amount of building with that goes on in residential areas - usually extensions being added to houses - it's always in the summer and goes on for months - it has ruined my enjoyment of living in my house and in particular sitting in my lovely garden virtually every year for the last 12 years - the concrete mixer starting first thing in the morning, the noise and dust from diamond cutting discs chopping up breeze blocks, bricks and paving slabs, dust all over your windows and car, the sound of the bass from the builders playing their ghetto blaster all day, all the building material related debris, snack, food and drink related rubbish that blows into your garden - bits of plastic, half a dozen cars and vans parked on the pavement - then at the end of the day they clean the concrete mixer out and attempt to throw the dirty water down the drains in the road. The planning department ought to look at who has recently had to put up with builders and not approve other plans if there had already been building work in the same area the previous year and also limit how many building projects are on in an areas at any one time - the year before last I could hear the noise from building work on 3 nearby properties - within 100m - this lasted 6 months. I like to sit on my garden and read as I live in a cul-de-sac - it's a very quiet area normally - no one makes much noise.... until builders arrive and they are completely oblivious about what is normal. I also like to find a shady spot in my garden to write... The building work in now a regular summer thing and it really destroys my happiness and stops me from enjoying my garden and where I live especially in the summer - I find myself having to shut windows and doors when the weather is nice just to keep out the noise.

If you have builders in please tell them - no ghetto blaster.

MLM huns convinced that they own their own business. I'm not sure why making 10p on a sale of diet pills that cause explosive diarrhea is anything to be proud of.

I would ban posters who turn every thread into their cause of the day.

oh and people who are constantly negative…

“oh I saw a beautiful sunset yesterday”
”You know there are Mongolian tree frogs that were wiped out during a sunset… why do you hate Mongolian tree frogs?”

I am with you. Came here for a giggle and ended up with eye strain from eyerolls!

I would ban and fine people from stopping on one side of an isle in a shop while reaching to the other side thus taking whole isle.
£50 a pop should do!

Sonervousimgonnathrowup · 15/07/2022 08:35

CuriousCatfish · 15/07/2022 08:35

I would ban 'how often do you shower threads' from MN

BigCheeseSandwich · 15/07/2022 08:36

four wheel drives in urban areas.
Influencers
cling film

Dogs off leads. Sick of stupid owners telling me their darling is just being friendly

ReGINerate · 15/07/2022 08:38

Chewing gum
Cigarettes/vapes

chocolatemademefat · 15/07/2022 08:39

TikTok. Can’t get anything done for going on for just five minutes - two hours later I’m like a brain dead zombie but can’t come off. I need to clean my feckin house but TikTok……….

CredibilityProblem · 15/07/2022 08:41

Breeding and selling brachycephalic dogs.

Scented sanpro

Custard especially when combined with otherwise nice puddings. You're welcome to put it on rhubarb though.

People being such sensitive pansies about everything, and 'ism' (racism, sexism etc).

Hbh17 · 15/07/2022 08:44

Eating in the theatre & cinema
People being noisy in public (especially video calls, playing music etc)
The state pouring money into the NHS - just bring in a proper insurance system & get the population to take some responsibility
Caravans

But in reality, probably none of these because banning things is a slippery slope!

Wow, you must be very privileged then.

Juniperberries25 · 15/07/2022 08:45

Politicians that don't understand the meaning if democracy. Like... I don't know....Nicola Sturgeon.

Less than 50% of Scots voted for pro- independence parties Nicola. Get over yourself and LEAVE OUR COUNTRY ALONE!!!

The holes in crumpets because they look fucking evil.
The way that smart, black school/work trousers sound when scratched.
Reoccurring ingrown toenails.
People being mean for kicks.
Me, I'd like to ban me.

Evil crumpet holes 😂😂😂

Just lighthearted and in response to someone earlier who wanted to ban cars. I know the horses were there first and always slow down and give way. Just annoying when I need to get somewhere especially if the riders don’t tuck in where they could have ;although they usually do) 🙂. I think cyclists are more annoying especially on slightly faster roads. We need to build more cycle lanes and bridle paths.

Slow down, use a bike and save money? Petrol is £1.90 per litre, we should all be using alternatives where possible.

If your not fit enough, get an electric bike, they are amazing! there are people out there who can convert a normal bike for a few £100.

i drive extensively for work and tbh am rarely if ever slowed for more than a minute or two by a cyclist.

But road works, accidents, tractors, traffic congestion? very common.
