AIBU to think there isn't a single person out there who supports him.

Genuinely curious to see if I am wrong.

YANBU - he is a total dickhead and must go
YABU - he should stay

I actually think he did a fantastic job getting us all of those vaccines, and he is loved in Ukraine. If it was not for UK Putin would have won by now. I didn't care about the birthday cake and I think he made an error of judgement with Chris Pincher. I don't care as bout Kiers curry and beer either. Chris Pincher is my MP and tbh he does a good job locally but does have an issue after drinking with groping men. There have been others in the past. This is not the first incident. I would never vote for Jeremy Hunt or Sunak either. Honestly I think Boris has done a good job in terrible circumstances with Covid and Ukraine war to deal with and oil prices sky high. I know I will be unpopular but don't really care about politicians personal lives or petty squabbles just the big decisions nationally that affect us all.

Really🤔 so your happy with a sociopath and narcissist in charge of the country and happy with a known sexual predator and abuser as your MP.

You are very easily pleased.

StarDolphins · 06/07/2022 22:45

I do!

HelloThereObiWan · 06/07/2022 22:46

Me. I want him to stay.

I want him to fight the next general election. Because it guarantees a Tory wipeout and we can start fixing the mess they have created.

A new leader now has time to convince the voting masses that they are different etc and people will lap it up.

So yeah, I want him to stay, but not because I'm Mad Nads.

SausageinaBun · 06/07/2022 22:46

I want him to stay as long as he can, just because this is fun to watch. It's obviously not the right thing for running the country, but watching Tories in a crazy internal fight and being damaged by having supported him this far is rather moreish.

worriedatthistime · 06/07/2022 22:49

Yes his wife

@fulbe, yep found 2 lumps a few weeks ago, rang GP and went in, got sent to consultant within 2 weeks. He referred me for scan which I got in 17 days then I am back to see consultant on July 13th. I have a NHS dentist too. As I said locally our services are very good. Chris Pincher is a good local MP. I will vote for him again as I don't care about his personal life. If he commits a criminal act I will leave p police to deal with it. I would vote for Boris again in GE. I won't be able to because he will be gone by end of weekend. I would never vote for Hunt or Sunak. I have spoken to many people today locally about 19 and many told me they would still vote for Pincher if he had whip restored. 16 out of 19 actually.

He has broken the law. Groping people without consent is breaking the law.

worriedatthistime · 06/07/2022 22:51

@CanaryShoulderedThorn no we never when based on per million of population , unless you have very different figures you can quote from a reliable source

Florenz · 06/07/2022 22:52

Boris has plenty of support in the real world. He's probably the most popular Tory PM I can remember.

worriedatthistime · 06/07/2022 22:52

@FrasierCraneDay why because they dare to have a different opinion? I don't share their opinion but im grown up enough to know people are entitled to one and not name call of belittle like many do on here when someone doesn't share all their beliefs

coffeeschmoffee · 06/07/2022 22:53

I quite like him tbh (can't admit this in real life). Happy for him to stay.

Shehasadiamondinthesky · 06/07/2022 22:55

After today's exhibition I don't. Laughing his way through PMQT, I was at a patients house and we decided to take 5 and watch together, it was unbelievable.
The despite all of the resignations, more than any other PM he sacks Gove and still refuses to go.
He must be wondering how he is going to pay CMA for his 500 children next month.

Erm, ok then. I'm astonishingly sure I'm not the only person on this thread that shares my belief that our PM is an utter useless cretin, has the morals of a moron as do his supporters but you crack on. And no, I do not and will never respect his supporters for one reason, I am not a twat.

nilpois · 06/07/2022 22:56

I want him to remain as PM.
There's no one in his party who I would want to replace him..,,.
Even worse would be Starmer or Rayner.
Makes me cringe to even imagine.

Don’t be daft. The US is supplying the Ukraine with much more arms than the UK

Whoever wants to keep the corp tax low. Our small business of 4 people paid more corporation tax than Etsy last year. Will be setting up in Ireland if it goes up to 25% So will a lot of other businesses. Is that what people really want?

That’s a failure of the government to properly tackle to problem of companies offshoring in low corporation tax havens and not have to pay more to trade in the UK.

aletterfromseneca · 06/07/2022 22:58

I genuinely want to hear why people who like him do like him, but I feel they aren’t sharing because they get jumped on quite quickly.

Fishingeveryday212 · 06/07/2022 22:58

@CanaryShoulderedThorn completely agree. Unfortunately people that never liked him to begin with can’t see the positives of what he achieved with Brexit, vaccines, minimal lockdowns and Ukraine. NHS doesn’t need anymore money, just needs to lose the inefficiencies.

ArseInTheCoOpWindow · 06/07/2022 22:59

No, there has been widespread support from the west to keep Putin at bay. It’s not just the U.K. apart from Boris cosying up to him to avoid domestic problems.

lm hugely enjoying watching the Tories rip each other apart.

Unfortunately it’s at a point where the world is in financial turmoil and we need a strong government. But at least their anarchy has a level of entertainment in it.

worriedatthistime · 06/07/2022 22:59

@FrasierCraneDay well as you cannot respect someone having a different opinion to you and know your not the only one and its shocking on here how people ridicule others and name call because they don't share the same opinion
We live in a democracy not a dictatorship where people are free to have different choices and maybe respecting that makes someone a bigger person

worriedatthistime · 06/07/2022 23:03

@aletterfromseneca on here too many name call anyone who maybe suggests they like him or even just mention one thing he has got right etc
I think maybe people need to listen more and understand what makes people like /dislike and maybe respect that as opposed to name call and shout down as is done on here a lot , I am a floating voter but will say often one parties supporters who often shout and abuse others who vote another way more so than any others on PUblic forums etc

FrasierCraneDay · 06/07/2022 23:05

Well as you've singled me out I'm happy to get into this with you. You talk about respect, I respect the people who couldn't say goodbye to their loved ones while our pm partied. I respect the volunteers that help out at foodbanks to assist those in need while our pm talks about treehouses. I respect my friends in the nhs who are completely burnt out while our pm clapped. Need I go on?

Themidnightcat · 06/07/2022 23:06

I understand people have different opinions and like different things but I would be really interested to know why people like Boris Johnson, every time I read things they say it's always inaccurate.

He doesn't seem to have any redeeming qualities I think I could understand if you could say " Well yes he had a blowjob at work but we've have the lowest covid deaths in the world due to Boris' quick and swift action" then that'd be fair enough but I genuinely can't think of anything good but willing to be enlightened.

FrasierCraneDay · 06/07/2022 23:09

Oh @worriedatthistime I forgot this one. I respect all victims of sexual assault, myself included, while our pm makes excuses about having issues with alcohol. I sincerely hope this will make you, well, become human

mm40 · 06/07/2022 23:10

Sorry - I thought you meant blowjobs and post-mortems.. well if you will use initials instead of writing things down 💁‍♂️

Doris899 · 06/07/2022 23:14

What a pantomime the Tories are. Always the same every leader. Every term. Absolute shitshow. Fucking useless
