To think it is not a bloody disaster if I don't eat!

I've lost my appetite and have not eaten more than a couple of mouthfuls before feeling really full for about 3 days now. Today so far I've had half a cup of chair and a quarter slice of toast.

I am fat. Circus lady fat. I have zero willpower when it comes to food! I am not choosing to not eat! I just feel full. I challenge anyone to eat when they feel full! I think about eating and all I feel is "meh"

Yesterday my husband brought me chocolate ice cream and I didn't want it. That's how genuinely full I feel!

My husband is bugging the crap out of me and acting like I'm choosing to not eat.

Trust me, no fucker gets to my size if they can choose to not eat 🤣.

Aibu to say to him look, back off. I'm ok. I'll eat when I'm hungry.

I am diabetic and I am testing my blood sugar regularly. It's looking fine.

I'm just not hungry. Fatties can be not hungry. Honest! 🤣

Feeling full and loss of appetite isn't a great sign. At best a virus is brewing, at worst there's a lump where it shouldn't be.
You need to get it checked.

Fingers x you're ok OP.

In a similar situation, similar sort of size, insulin resistant type 2, on insulin so you can imagine, HUGE amounts of insulin meaning im now gaining rapidly rather than maintaining/slow gain/occasional drop which I was before.

I went to my GP a while back as I couldn't eat a thing, (prior to the insulin) I was losing weight fast, I lost a stone in two weeks...

Response..

'Oh good'.

Not good, I was suffering gastroparesis and not digesting properly, a further symptom of my body failing. Not at ALL 'good'.

My heart failure and EDS went undiagnosed for years because 'well go for a walk and lose weight', my life is likely to be shortened by 30 years because my weight was seen as the cause of symptoms and not as the result of symptoms.

It really isn't acceptable. Being this much underweight would be reasonably viewed as a symptom unless there was evidence to suggest it was a cause. But being overweight is STILL viewed initially and almost always permenantly as 'you're a lazy greedy fecker, lose weight then talk to me'.

I also completely lost my (usually large) appetite during covid, and for a good while afterwards too.
