I don't. I know someone who wears a soft bra in bed?

Do you wear your bra in bed?

Always, I’m only bra-less for about 10 minutes every 24 hours (when I shower).

36GG 😫

CookPassBabtridge · 04/07/2022 20:23

Yes a soft one, same as others I don't like the feeling of then flopping everywhere 😂 They just feel better supported.. braless feels like pressure. Same as when men prefer tight boxers for their balls 😆

thirdfiddle · 04/07/2022 20:25

Are you not worried about your boots sagging alot when your older because your not supporting them.

I was when I was young. Now I'm heading for old I don't give a damn where my boobs go as long as they're comfortable. Someone told me if you're in a habit of not wearing bras, actually they hold themselves up better because they're not used to the support of the bra. I don't know if there's any truth in that though and don't actually care anyway.

I stopped wearing bras much at all over lockdown. When I'm going to exercise or a smart event I do, but otherwise I'm much comfier without; and I've only ever worn cotton non wired ones, but even that across my back itches and is a huge relief to remove.

Not very big though so i can see it might be different if you've got more boob to manoeuvre.

IRunbecauseILikeCake · 04/07/2022 20:25

No. I'm have fairly big breasts but I find wearing a bra in bed really uncomfortable. When I was a teen I struggled to go without one though.

PollysPockets · 04/07/2022 20:27

No way! I take my bra off as soon as I walk in the front door. Even non wired bras/crop tops are not comfy for me - I have really big boobs and I cope with them being restrained constantly. The only time i wore a bra to sleep was when I was breastfeeding because of the need for breast pads, otherwise naked sleeping is the best!

QuestionableMouse · 04/07/2022 20:29

Nope. Mine are genuinely massive (40k) and the bands make my ribs sore.

mammamiafrozenpizza · 04/07/2022 20:43

Not as an adult, but when I was a teenager, I did. I just felt more comfortable that way. I'm only a B-cup, but I still dislike the feeling of them being "loose", so I take it off last thing and put one on again as soon as I get out of bed in the morning.

Cas112 · 04/07/2022 20:44

No and I've got massive boobs

Staters · 04/07/2022 20:44

Thanks Jazzapples1, I’ll take a look.

yourestandingonmyneck · 04/07/2022 20:48

A soft crop top kind of thing.

It's a must. Hate them flopping about loose, but could never wear an actual bra to bed.

KvotheTheBloodless · 04/07/2022 20:57

Nope. The only time I have worn one was whilst bf, so I could put pads in and not soak the bed with milk.

Mind you, except for during bf, my boobs are tiny.

redhearts · 04/07/2022 21:04

Yes. M&S sleep bra. But big boobs so much more comfortable

It's not true they sag more friend is a bra fitter. Lots of older ladies come for a bra when they have an event to attend like a wedding. They haven't worn a bra for years and they then want one and it's not easy.

poppym12 · 04/07/2022 21:07

No. I'm a 34g but I don't find that they particularly flop about. Mind you, if I lie on my back they just head towards my armpits. Ahhhh I miss the perkiness of youth.

Freeasabird76 · 04/07/2022 21:08

Not normally but leading up to my period when my boobs are particularly sore the support of a soft bra helps.

Fifi0102 · 04/07/2022 21:10

Yes hate the feeling of my boobs flopping about doesn't feel right without a bra on. They are still quite perky I think it's because of the bra.

Galaxyinmypocket · 04/07/2022 21:15

Only ever remove bra when necessary. Feel extremely uncomfortable without it. I'm the same with clothes though, tight and fitting, if I wear a loose top or jumper I need a vest underneath.

SmallPrawnEnergy · 04/07/2022 21:17

Of course a bra fitter will say you need a bra, otherwise they’d be scuppered if we all went braless.

Ptosis is caused by a range of factors. Incorrect support during vigorous activity like running, is one. Genetics, density, size etc all play into it. There’s even a study that states wearing a bra may cause sagging because it weakens the pectoral muscles.

In any case, life is too short to be uncomfortable and even the most comfy bras (I’ve had some cracking ones from Primark of all places recently and had no idea they went up to my size!!!) so don’t worry about the sag and let the titties be free (if you find that more comfortable that is).

Kindofcrunchy · 04/07/2022 21:21

I did when I was breastfeeding and leaking everywhere! Was heaven to ditch the bra in bed though.

Shakeitshakeitbaby · 04/07/2022 21:26

I wear bra 30 vests. Amazing.

Shakeitshakeitbaby · 04/07/2022 21:28

I am a 38F

SherbertLemonDrop · 04/07/2022 21:31

I have huge boobs I couldn't think of anything worse then wearing a bra to bed. But that's probably because all my bras are really restrictive, underwired, Crane type bras.

mizzo · 04/07/2022 21:33

Are you not worried about your boots sagging alot when your older because your not supporting them.

A) Grin at boots

B) Nope. They're already saggy from pregnancy and breast feeding. I was 19 with lovely perky breasts when I got pg with DC1 by the time she was one they were as droopy as they are now and she's 23.

ShahRukhKhan · 04/07/2022 21:35

Yep, soft bra due to big boobs

whoruntheworldgirls · 04/07/2022 21:35

No but only because i can't find one to fit 38HH. Would love a sleep bra!
