To ask you not to tolerate the term "pregnant people"

It might seem harmless and kind but it is not harmless. I'm seeing the term alot at the moment due to the horrid state of affairs across the pond.

Pregnancy, abortion, menstruation, menopause. These are issues that affect women and reasons why men have sought to control us, to control our bodies. We are seen as vessels, chattels, playthings, property, servants, and then, when we can no longer get pregnant, as useless rubbish. All due to our biological function. If you tolerate language change so these things are seen as 'people' rights issues that affect both 'men' and women we lose the truthful and valid argument that bad and oppressive practices, laws, policy decisions etc, e.g. banning of abortion, are rooted in misogyny, which of course they are.

Abortion bans are because of misogyny. Especially in countries where there is no free maternal care, no statutory maternity leave or pay, no shits given about the children once they are born. This is a women's rights issue, a sex based one. And we, as a sex class, must never take any rights we have for granted.

I think it involves having the confidence to assert yourself and do what you want without putting others first all the time.

Which is ironic, because asserting ourselves against male people is exactly what women are being vilified for in this debate.

To get a gender recognition certificate you have to commit to living as your acquired gender for the rest of your life.

The English speaking world has not consented to changing the definition of woman to mean “gender/gender identity” or whatever nebulous term, from meaning sex. Only a small percentage of the English speaking world believe this change of definition, and the are trying to gaslight the rest of the world into believing the word woman has always meant gender identity. Whenever anyone sees the woman is defined as gender just read it as “We have always been at war with Eastasia.”

No, it's a description of an adult human female. 'Female' is the biological description, purely scientific and objective. Human is my species, purely scientific and objective (all mammals and many other organisms are male or female so 'female' is necessary but not sufficient to be a woman). Adult is the age - objective, some cultural variation as to where that starts, but necessary to distinguish women from girls.

That's it. 'Gender' may sometimes be used as a euphemism for sex but nowadays it seems to mean whatever the heck people want so it's essentially meaningless.
