To be fed up of rich people/celebs and private jets

Just read this morning that Harry & Meghan arrived in the UK on the Queen’s private jet. Why can’t they travel on a normal scheduled flight? It’s not like they’d have been wedged into economy class with a toddler on their laps like the rest of us anyway!

I’m just fed up of reading about the rich & famous gallivanting around the planet in their jets (the Beckhams are another example) when the rest of us are made to feel guilty about climate change and our carbon footprint by taking any flights at all - even when it’s one short haul EasyJet/Ryanair return flight a year and we’re packed into economy like sardines. Why one rule for them and another for us?

Probably their head of 6th form. Only a kid could write something like this in earnest. I don't want to share my wealth. Why should I? If I earn more than a person on benefits its partly luck and mainly qualifications and ladder climbing and dedication to my career above all else. So why do I have to subsidise other people. I have healthcare and would never use the NHS, I have enough to see me through till the end of my life easily. There's a reason I left the UK and its angry jealous little people like that who put us off returning and paying tax. I certainly don't want to subsidise someone so full of hate and bile who presumably doesn't have any money.

Yep. An initiative seeded with funds originating from the charitable Royal Foundation.

Interestingly enough it's managed to acquire creditors during the pandamic (when no-one was travelling) who are coincidentally due an amount all but equivalent to said seeding.

Unfortunately as it's a limited company we're unlikely ever to be able to determine the final destination of said funds.

Yanbu the rich/elite are a true cancer on the planet.

Far too many people think it is acceptable that a literal handful of people have been able to amass inconceivable wealth to the detrimental of everyone else. While many more are too scared to rock the boat because they have been duped into believing that they too could one day be rich if they just work hard enough.

The sooner capitalism collapses the better imo. Fuck the elite.

Capitalism isn't the problem.

The problem is crony capitalism, corruption, and all the people who have captured our elected representatives, and are dictating policies that impoverish us and enrich the elites.

If we had true, uncorrupted capitalism, it would be great.
