When I have a shower my head is always facing towards the shower

Now this is whether I am washing my hair or not. When you see a woman on TV or in a film having a shower she is always facing away from the shower. I have just watched something with a man and he was facing the shower. I know this is a first world question but how do you shower?

I never even thought of facing away, wouldn’t you be freezing??

I have to face the shower because my grab rail is under the shower raiser bar.

I start off facing away and finish facing.

Fellow kebaber here. But sometimes stand with face under water pretending I'm in a really good hot strorm, or sit on the floor and have a good think.

I face away to wash hair, turn to wet my face, turn again to wash the soap off my face and soap by body then a final twirl to rinse my front.

I guess I’m a kebab and never knew it🤣

Can’t bear water in my face.

Face towards the shower unless I'm washing my hair / rinsing my hair / rinsing my back. The shower is adjusted so it hits my chest not my face (I bend a bit to wash my face). Keeps my hair from getting too wet if I don't want to wash it.

The only way to shower! Be vigilant.

Face away mostly but also kebab. Shower head hits my neck and not head as I don't wash my hair in the shower

I always face towards the shower, astounded that most people don't, never occurred to me to face away

I unclip the shower head and take it down so that I can direct it onto different parts of my body. By the responses so far in this thread I'm evidently the odd one!

People who say they face away as they don’t like getting it in their face …can’t you just point the spray a bit lower?

I face away but turn around to warm my belly periodically. I also take the shower head off to rinse my hair (and fanjo) so less water goes on my face.

I twirl too. Sometimes I even dance 🤣 (but don't tell anyone).

Face away so it goes over my back but also runs over my shoulders and onto my front.
My back gets cold if I face it.
