When I have a shower my head is always facing towards the shower

Now this is whether I am washing my hair or not. When you see a woman on TV or in a film having a shower she is always facing away from the shower. I have just watched something with a man and he was facing the shower. I know this is a first world question but how do you shower?

Both sides alternately otherwise one side gets cold!

I face outwards mainly but our shower has a monsoon head so the water comes from above your head.

When I found out that DH faced into the shower head I thought he was a psychopath. Why would you want all the water on your face?!

I face towards the shower mostly, apart from turning to rinse back half, and have never seen anyone face away from it in a film.

I also have a "rain shower head" so I face the shower, as I have access to the controls that way...

I prefer baths but when I shower I actually turn around to face the wall so the shower water is going onto my hair from the back, then I can use that to rinse my hair. I think I turn to face the shower when washing my face, but that's it.

I face away while washing my hair and soaping. But I turn towards to shave my legs so I can put my foot on the wall

Movie rules - men face the shower so they have water running over their back and their bare arse can be brought into shot if required (as the chances are they're about to be attacked by an assassin and need to fight barearsed and armed only with a bright white towel and .38 pistol, but women face away so that the audience get to see the gratuitous tit shots.

My shower comes from above so I don't know what any of you are on about

The shower head is in the ceiling so there’s no such thing as facing at it or away but I face away from the wall mainly and for some reason turn and face the wall when rinsing the front of my body off. I guess as I am used to a wall mounted shower.

Face-on with the shower head lower than my face, unless I'm washing my hair, in which case I raise it above my head and turn my back

At the moment I almost run around under the shower, the pressure is so bad its the only way I can get wet.

So strange, I always thought people faced the showers and the movies did it the other way just for visual effect or whatever lol
