I'm pretty sure that there was no party.

Who the fuck cares? If I could have gone to a party, I would have!

Jesus, such a fucking commotion about him having a drink!

Meetings with just water were probably fine!

Jaysis. Fuck it. There's more to be worrying about. Namely the NHS.

At a time when other people were dying alone, giving birth alone, leaving relatives alone in care homes, delaying weddings, not being able to access dental treatment, avoiding seeing their GPs about cancer symptoms and all manner of other things more important than their social gatherings/parties because it was 1. The Law and 2. the right thing to do, they were sticking two fingers up at the nation rather than leading by example like they should have been.

Too fucking right it's worth worrying, and getting angry about.

Make your mind up.
Firstly you said it didn’t happen now it did but you don’t care

Top notch troll post. I approve Grin

Unfortunately, the scene is in French dubbing I think!

However, Britain really lead the world imo in how Covid was handled.

Not this world, though.

I'm just joking really. I don't give a fuck! If you do not know by now that there are rules for the elite and rules for us, then maybe, you're not terribly aware of what the world is like.

The fact that people don't care is why this government gets away with the shit they do and always have.

@BarbaraofSeville I agree with you. For me, partygate really brought it home how much certain politicians despise Joe Public. One rule for them. Another rule for the rest of us, who are held in contempt

No. It's been going on 6 months now?
It's distracting.
Get the fuck over it!
Lambaste him over the state of the NHS!
But for fuck's sake if I hear one more word about fucking 'partygate', God almighty I will just give up!

Stop it! STOP GOING ON ABOUT IT!

Doesn't matter what you call it. They where gathered up not socially distanced when the rest of the country wasn't allowed to do this. The word party is irrelevant

The nhs he needed when he caught covid. Covid he may not have caught if he wasn't partying and was taking the heavy restrictions he made the rest of us abide to - BY LAW

TooBigForMyBoots · 23/05/2022 10:26

He has demonstrated that it's ok to break the law if you think it's a stupid law.🤷‍♀️ So good news for those who will have to resort to shoplifting in order to eat.

Personally I might engage in a little light bank robbery

Swayingpalmtrees · 23/05/2022 10:49

I am looking forward to round two with STARMER gate!

This should be fun because he might actually resign and that will be a slow motion car crash that is worth getting the toffee popcorn in for!

QuebecBagnet · 23/05/2022 10:56

I think that the prime minister lying to the public and parliament is fairly serious and not something we should “get over”. Some people have a seriously low bar for what they want from their elected leaders.

But you started a post on it
I actually reckon nobody is a stupid as you are pretending to be.

JetTail · 23/05/2022 10:58

It's just distracting. Ukraine is second item on the news. The invasion of Europe by Russia. NOT as important as Boris having a fucking party.

Sunak? That fucker needs to be culled lol.
Stop rattling on about the fucking parties (which weren't parties as I wasn't there).

But you’re right in that it is distracting. Hence he should have resigned. Can you imagine if cases exploded and he had to call another lockdown? Would anyone listen now? Of course not! He’s no authority. And not just on covid stuff now. If he was to say we should be doing x people will snigger because they won’t believe he’ll do whatever he tells the plebs to do

felineweird · 23/05/2022 11:01

The irony... you say stop going on about it but started a thread about it 🤣 you also 'don't give a fuck' ...well you give enough of one to bloody post about it!

SleeplessInEngland · 23/05/2022 11:01

It's basically been confirmed that he atteneded parties/gatherings he wasn't fined for but that other people also there were. Whatever the truth the Met have handled this terribly.

Did he ever have any respect? Etonian, Oxford privileged who sailed in a few years ago? I think the Brits 'wannabe'.

They do care. Tory polling has been terrible or 5 months straight since this broke, and Johnson's personal ratings have been abysmal.

The people whining that it's not a big deal are in the stark minority.

I agree, also those people making claims that "everyone was doing it" or "anyone would do it if they could get away with it" are the true children of Thatcher. This is her legacy - there is no such thing as society.
Bad things are only bad if you get caught, there's no morality.
