Then 10.30 for her returning to the conversation to say that she loves him and didn’t mean to hurt him. That’s the point where she says that she didn’t do it on purpose.

She also sounds totally trashed- slurring, sobbing and stomping about. It is worth listening to the whole thing because it is fairly obvious that Dr.Kipper knows that she did it- as though she admitted it to him before the recording started.

Menora · 25/05/2022 14:09

Kipper sounds really angry and pissed off

Legrandsophie · 25/05/2022 14:11

Jerry Judge sounds both exhausted and really worried. He says to who ever he is talking to on the phone that he has never seen Johnny this hurt. He is also adamant that he thinks that Amber caused most of the damaged.

I think it is also pretty clear that the end that she set up this recording so she could listen to what they were saying about her.

Miscfeminista · 25/05/2022 14:18

And AH's team is not that bad at all, they have good comebacks and generally, there's little they could do that I would consider worse than Camille style of cross. They come with good arguments(obviously that's biased since I find AH story making sense)and JDs team had to work a lot harder and go in circles only to try make her witnesses say"well yes it may be so or it may be so in this hypothetical situation". They also had to go for repetition a lot to be convincing to jury I suppose. Overall I found JDs testimonies a bit dull

Menora · 25/05/2022 14:20

the entertainment expert who testified for AH said his career started a downward spiral in 2010. this was the timeframe of the split with Vanessa and getting with Amber.

I could not understand the reasoning that AH career was going up the same time JD was tanking yet her team say he was holding back her career opportunities because he was jealous. His was tanking because of his addictions and yet hers was better than ever I can see why he would have probably hated it. Chicken and egg did his addictions cause both the career and relationship issues or did the relationship issues contribute to his addictions and career free fall.

ENoeuf · 25/05/2022 14:21

The Australia tapes sound like JD team trying to get her out the way as they are bad for each other. It's clear where their loyalty lies, and clear they think they are both trouble. They are trying to get shot of her so they can fix his finger. I don't think it's an admission of guilt re the finger but it also doesn't support the rape story. However twice there is reference to her getting support/medication fixed. (Not sedatives).
I think they aren't clear and are mainly people who weren't there piecing it's together and trying to get them apart.

Where does she say "I didn't do it on purpose"? Do you have a timestamp?
And the bit about xanax, adderall and hallucinogens? Thanks.

10:31. amber: I never meant to hurt him
10:32 amber: I didn't do it on purpose

Ok I'm a bit shocked with Kate Moss voice, I don't think I ever heard her before. Had no idea she's from UK either

The only thing I don’t like about her team is that Elaine doesn’t really seem to understand twitter or social media and she can really panic and shout out in court a lot

I also spotted AH a mile off, I said so in first thread. Agree 100% she has NPD. NPD is brutal and not just narcissm, it is a whole other level. I am in the process of divorcing myself and DD from it.

I'm so sorry you're going through that. I think a lot of people following this case are bringing their own experiences in; I guess we all do that to an extent. But to suggest that AH has narcissistic personality disorder when even Dr Curry didn't come up with that diagnosis says to me that you might be projecting. As I posted above, potentially she didn't actually meet the threshold for BPD either. But she certainly didn't have an NPD profile.

I actually think 'gut feelings' and this kind of anecdotal personal experience is something we need to be more careful about. Not in terms of keeping yourself safe but making big sweeping judgements about people.

NPD is thrown around on MN like smarties. Primarily because posters don’t understand that PDs are serious mental health diagnoses, and that being selfish, self-centred narcissistic traits does not equal NPD.

‘Gut feelings’ about people you have never met are nothing more than a attempt to validate opinion/prejudice.

TempName01 · 25/05/2022 14:30

Wow Kate Moss was awesome 😄

unctuousunicorns1 · 25/05/2022 14:32

By God, assuming this is genuine, then it's pretty damning. If they are the words of a woman who is covered in painful glass cuts and slashes, and has been repeatedly raped with a bottle only a few hours ago, then I'm Joan of Arc. You can throw all the "you don't know how a victim would react/behave" at me, I just don't buy it. We also have to assume that she is surrounded pyschopaths whose only concern is for JD and so are ignoring her piteous state. That doesn't seem likely either.

I feel very sorry for her as I really think she is very ill. In fact I feel for both AH and JD, like pp have said there will be no winners in all this sorry affair, only losers. They both seem to be messed up, dysfunctional individuals from fucked up backgrounds. And I really hope I'm wrong, but I fear that whatever the outcome of the trial, there's a real risk that one (or both) may end up dead as a result. I hope I'm not being dramatic saying that.

Or it’s just a laypersons opinion, thoughts and feelings which are influenced by many different factors
no one on here is professing to be an expert

Kate Moss didn’t say much! I was hoping for more, she was good though

Dr. kipper says at about 9 mins that ‘she cut the bone’. This suggests to me that pre- recording she had admitted to hurting him.

Miscfeminista · 25/05/2022 14:39

I am embarassed listening to dr Currys rebbutal with her"feigning"stuff. Generally speaking these questionarres sound useless-it's the actual psychs opinion and eval that matters with or without tests IMO

adriftabroad · 25/05/2022 14:44

Kate was great!

Legrandsophie · 25/05/2022 14:44

@Miscfeminista

Are you psychiatrically trained? Do you know what these tests are used for beyond Google and what has been said in court?

ENoeuf · 25/05/2022 14:44

I think the Australia tapes aren't clear and the subtitles in places are shady.

How? I’ve just listen with the volume way up and the subtitles were 100% accurate.

ENoeuf · 25/05/2022 14:49

Ok. I tried that and I don't think some of it is clear. That to me could have been he or she. Plus once you put a subtitle on people tend to hear what they read. I think some was really clear and some wasn't. Having half a phone call was irritatingly

unctuousunicorns1 · 25/05/2022 14:51

I struggled to hear some of it too. I'd to listen it through some decent headphones; they're in the back of the car at DH's work just now though.

No, but I’m not claiming to know better than the expert witnesses.
