Fairy dust! Apparently the score and the bits you use

Isn't there a film, where famously there was a love scene but the lead actor and lead actress hated each other.
So they filmed them separately and then edited it together so it looked like they were together.

Or have I made that up?

adriftabroad · 24/05/2022 16:22

I want a passion project.

ENoeuf · 24/05/2022 16:24

Is it this one?

I like this guy

ENoeuf · 24/05/2022 16:25

This guy isn't even pretending to be neutral. The doctor seemed to be quite balanced.

I haven’t been watching today but how do you edit in or fabricate chemistry?!

This guy said using music and editing scenes

Yes!

Thank you. I knew I hasn't made it up 😁

ENoeuf · 24/05/2022 16:27

Sharon Stone rang a bell.

I don’t like him, but after the WB guy it easy for him to knock Kathryn Arnold’s testimony out of the water.

adriftabroad · 24/05/2022 16:30

He is proper old school (but, at 50, I am old)😄
But he is straightforward and not waffling.

unctuousunicorns1 · 24/05/2022 16:31

One thing I have struggled with is on the tape recordings, AH seems to be describing what is happening for the benefit of the listener - "stop pushing me, stop pushing me against the wall", "I'm on the floor, I'm on the floor" to roughly quote two of them, it's like a radio play. Is it what was happening or what she wants the listeners i.e. jurors to think is happening? It's weird; it's not exactly convincing me, I don't think. And am I misremembering, or was there a time when a member of staff heard her crying "Wow, Johnny, stop hitting me, stop hitting me!" and walked into the room to find AH either alone, or JD in the room but nowhere near her? Did I dream that, or has it been mentioned in the trial?

I don't like him because he gives me used car salesman stereotypical vibes. But all of the men called for JD pretty much have a vibe (not the medical)

Yes, I think they were on two seperate sofas or something?

ENoeuf · 24/05/2022 16:41

What is this man's name? I'd be interested in his prior contact or involvement in any deals for JD or AH

Depp is making a case that Amber is a fantasist, why have they built their counterclaim of 100 million on a case that was hard to prove and is actually helping Depp build his case. This is character assassination of their own case

adriftabroad · 24/05/2022 16:43

Good point

It's hard to belittle a man who has probably raped quite a few women and humiliated them in various ways, I would doubt it reaches his entitlement. But it seems"feminism"means wasting time defending these men. Good luck with that

There's a defamation trial in progress at the moment. I'd be very careful about making claims like that tbh. Though maybe you think you've covered yourself by saying probably?

His name is Richard Marks an entertainment lawyer.

Ya it's weird right? Maybe they have to go higher in a counter suit? Otherwise it's mad.

That might have been one of the security guards' testimony. The day before AH filed for the TRO, she had asked JD to come to the penthouse to get some clothes. And according to the security guard, when she started shouting "stop hitting me" he walked in and JD was nowhere near her.

His name is Richard Marks. In his original testimony, his expert credentials took absolutely ages to get through. I don't remember him saying anything about being involved in deals for either JD or AH.

Ms Heard, YABU 😅

Midlifemusings · 24/05/2022 16:58

Everyone who works in the entertainment industry has a certain vibe. The woman Kathryn Arnold did too, as do the rest of them. I guess to work in entertainment you need to be a bit of a character or have a certain oddity to you.

And creating a storyarc with editing and music is done all the time. They can completely really create all kinds of different arcs depending on what edits they use. Editing can change the story completely. There have been many movies and tv shows made where the peple acting together hated each other and yet the movie still turned out. Look at the Notebook - very famous romantic movie with two people who hated each other at the time. They may have had chemistry under the dislike as they later dated but editing is incredible in what it can do. A good editing team is as important as the cast.

I think she might not have meant it literally with the first two. I think she might mean, I am the floor, like she's reached the max, she's exhausted and drained. Stop putting me against the wall - I took to mean that she's trapped, nowhere to go. If he's controlling he's giving her no way out mentally from the arguments.

The hitting one is interesting. Of course his security would say that. They have learnt to lie and support JD and stay quiet for jD no matter what.
