Just that really. I am much more likely to buy clothing if the model looks like looks slim. I don't care for the current thing of showing clothes (aside from specifically for plus sized ofc) on fat people. It's not as attractive.
I am a thin person but have been fat by the way.

I'm Asian, and I'm flat chested, my body is like a child's body compared to western woman. So what should I do? Maybe they should do size 4 - 22, rather than 10-22. If they need to be representing everyone.

I did say there was no one super skinny or flat chested. And that it wasn't perfect but "better" than most sites.
That means they could do better.

I was in a clothes shop a little while ago and the sales manager made a comment to me about how slim I was. She said she hated me because all clothes would look good on me. I told her actually it wasn’t that easy to find clothes that fit well, being so petite. She said, ‘No, you’ll never make me feel sorry for you, I still hate you.’

Yes! The number of times I’ve seen a lovely dress in a shop window only to find that the size ‘8’ would easily fit a size 12 but it was pinned on the mannequin. It’s so misleading.

The average womans size in uk is 14-16 so often those sizes are missed for bigger ladies or slimmer ladies and if they do have a 14 to 16 lady it's usually she has an hourglass figure which most of us falling into that size category do not have.

They should have models all shapes and sizes, not one or other but a wide range of models.

Also, I’d like to point out that you can be very slim and be healthy. I’m genetically very small and a size 6 - nothing I could eat would change that. There are lots of women like me. We don’t starve ourselves, we don’t have disordered eating, we just happen to be naturally small.

Buying clothes can be really difficult. Most of the shops I like - Whistles, French Connection, Hush - are completely out of bounds because the sizes aren’t small enough. For that I have to go to shops aimed at teenagers. But then the clothes are too young for me.

I wish clothing ranges would come in a bigger variety of sizes.

I'm not sure the online shopping experience should be improved any further. It's already massively more convenient than actual shopping. The only advantage to going shopping in person is being able to see how the clothes look on you. Make that available to online shoppers too and you'll be nailing the coffin shut on the high street.

Also, posters on this thread (collectively) want models in a range of:
sizes
shapes
heights
levels of attractiveness
unusual physical features

If that became the norm, how would someone's success or suitability to be a model be determined? Anyone with a bit of confidence could do it. No need for any acting ability or special talent - just wear clothes. It would be impossible to select between the hundreds of thousands of would be models.

And it's definitely still hard to find clothes when slim. I'm the same size as a typical model and clothes don't fit me. Even in the photos in online shopping - the clothes don't fit the models!

My favourites are the ones that show the same item on a few different models, showing a wide size range and how they look on the different body types.

You say you don't care because you are slim, the vast majority are not though, again average uk dress size is 14 to 16, since we don't fit into slim or large we often get ignored by clothes designers. Models should come in all shapes and sizes. Tall and sturdy women to small and petite women. Gone is the tall supermodel type body. It's all arses, tummy or boobs or all of them now or average height slim women. As we move onto a more diverse culture clothes have to accommodate all body types. So this who cares attitude you have is selfish. And while we are on the subject why should petite or tall ladies pay extra for their clothes?
