Cakeorwine her blatant lying and grifting has been going on for years if you've been paying attention. It's actually surreal to watch the rollercoaster ride of her Twitter feed. One minute she's boasting about paid partnerships with Linda McCartney / Hellmans /Twitter /Superdrug and going on minibreaks to Venice and buying a designer dog to live with her in her enormous house in a posh neighbourhood. Hair done in Toni and Guy, face full of filler and Botox. The next minute it's saying she hasn't bought shampoo in two years and has minus 14 quid in her bank account, begging money from people who are struggling. It's truly disgusting and I've lost respect for people like Nigella Lawson who elevate and enable her.

I do think some of the stuff she has promoted about eating on the cheap is good stuff

however her story's never ring quite true and I think she's quite a shrewd cookie , very media savvy and learned a lot from Tommy Robinson about making cash from gullible peoples donations.

He however is an utter opportunistic arse.

35 year old posts whining about how she’s going to have to get a job and downsize her home to something more suitable for her household of 1 person.

She’s apparently skint, but spent 2k on a puppy last month, got a new tattoo, talked about a bank account where she’s got money stashed away to take her son on holiday, been abroad on weekend breaks x 2/3 in the past couple of months, got her hair done at Tony and Guy, showed off her new Tiffany earrings.

She’s boiling up bars of soap because she can’t afford shower gel or shampoo (let’s ignore for a moment that it’d cost her more in utility bills to boil up soap than buy a cheap bottle of shower gel in the first place). Maybe she should have negotiated that Superdrug chuck a few bottles of shampoo her way as part of her latest contract with them.

She’s such a liar and a beg. More fool anyone who gives her a penny.

I love how 700+ patreons paying a minimum of £3.50 per month (for nothing in return) is ‘meagre income’. I hope people start noticing and I hope she stops begging for money from people less well off/actually ON the poverty line.

She lives in Southend. In a very expensive part of it and seems to have been in that house for a food few years . Back before I realised how disjointed all her claims were I remember her posting about tje kitchen and you can see it in some articles she did in 2019 That's a incredibly long fixed term rental agreement.

My personal opinion is that Jack's life and person has adapted to whatever the prevailing "publicity fad" is at the time. However, I may be being very cynical.

The blog post is so crass its unbelievable. Talking about all her expensive possessions in the same breath as claiming to be poor.

She's just 'bought' a dog that would have cost £1500 at the lowest estimate and that's not including food, insurance and accessories. I put 'bought' in quotes because she's now trying to imply that the dog was a gift, but even so, she shouldn't have accepted it if she's now claiming she can't afford soap.

Everything that comes out of her mouth is bullshit. EVERYTHING. This latest blog post is just something else to tug at the heartstrings of the idiots who donate to her PayPal and Patreon. She's been going on for months now about how she wants and is saving up to buy her own home and it's so much easier to rinse other people for the money than actually go out and work for it. If I'd been working '100 hours' a week and still couldn't afford the rent or money for food, I'd be looking for another job. She isn't helping people who are actually living in poverty, she's making a living off them and suppressing their voices. She's an absolute charlatan.

She’s responded on Twitter saying not a single word of that thread is true. She’s accused the author of libel and called them an abuser. Even though the thread is full of screenshots of her own contradictory words 😕

What’s interesting to me is that her followers don’t seem to care whether any of it is true or not. They are reporting the thread and insisting that the author is a malicious troll intent on causing hurt to JM. They’re not refuting any of the things that were said on that thread, they’re just saying it was wrong and evil for it to have been posted.

I use a couple of her great recipes from guardian days; she describes the being based on favourite local authentic curry restaurants.

I struggle to believe her chronic illnesses are nutrition based, if that's what she is implying. It's not said outright but implied. Also, it would be nutrition she had as a child and teen that would impact bones most. Could be veganism though, the iodine from dairy and fish is v important.

Led lightbulbs are far more effective, efficient and brighter. Ones in our kitchen have been going strong for 10 years. They've come down a lot in price too. Those dim solar powered garden things are over priced and seem to break easily tbh.
