I love my engagement ring, emerald are my favourite. The wedding ring was a cheap swarovski ring that I bought as a last minute ring to replace when I have the money. So I'll probably end up keeping it forever and never replacing it because there is always something more important to buy 😁

Beautiful rings, be careful if the rings are different metals, the harder one will wear the softer one through. You should only wear the same metal (and if gold same carat gold) next to each other

Mine is a boring solitaire but I love its twinkle. Platinum for both. @Ownedbymycats and @theviscountess I love yours; despite mine being really round, I love square or baguette cuts.

Never got engaged. But wanted something different as a wedding ring.

20 years on I still love my slim and simple ring. Never leaves a blister, can cycle and grip etc with it comfortably. Any other ring I have to take off.
I like it being such a simple ring I almost never remove, kind of dainty (do note though 20 years ago my knuckles abs hands were also smaller…)

I have noticed the fashion for ‘young girls’ at work to have magoosive knuckle dusters (huuuuuuuge diamonds with diamond bands). Not my thing but wowzer!

Mine is an almost 200yr old wedding ring that belonged to DHs great grandmother. It's platinum and yellow gold. I love its simplicity.

I don't really wear jewellery (live on a farm!) so decided not to have an engagement ring and just to have a nice wedding band instead and I love it I'd struggle with having two rings on one finger I think and I love that this just doesn't get in the way of anything

That’s like wedding ring I inherited. Then/there you got a fancier wedding band ( it sure if they’d ever had engagement rings) so a band of diamonds as a wedding ring was common!

Here are mine, been married 31 years this year! My original engagement ring had a smaller diamond so we upgraded it for our silver wedding anniversary and I think it looks more balanced now

It's not an engagement ring as dh & I bought it the other year as a treat for me. I rarely wear it as it catches on things and I don't want it to break at work. Our wedding bands match and are fairly plain but we like them.
