“Don’t put stuff in my bin”

I know I’m going to be told I’m unreasonable but seriously, what is the issue with people putting stuff in your outdoor bin as they walk by?

I’m not talking about someone putting their entire garbage in your bin, but say a crisp packet or a poo bag.

Why is it such a problem? Your bin is not going to the special golden place. It goes to the same place as everything else.

Unclench. It’s a bin

Take your own literal shit home with you, OP.

Poo bag not ok.

I'm in a weekly collection black bin bag area too and when my rubbish has used sanitary products, I have to shoo birds that know exactly which bin to go for. I will pick up my household's used sanitary stuff but no fucking way am I going near poo bags. Take them home with you.

I don't mind crisp packets etc but poo bags are a no.

I have a dog. All her poo gets bagged, then put in the small garden bin bag, then put in another bag, then in a black bag. If it gets squashed and goes everywhere, it will be contained and not end up splatting up the insides of my bin.

There is a chap on my street who used to put everyone's bins out on the evening before bin day. He would also go through everyone's bins and move bags around so there were as few bins as possible out for the bin men. Did my head in, as sometimes he would empty my bin and I still had a bag to go in on the morning.

Because where I live gets a lot of foot traffic coming back from a local attraction and every bugger does it and fills up my bin which I pay to use (private collection not council) so it may be a bag of crisps/few bottles to you but when it happens multiple times, it takes space away from me to use, so if I catch people, I do say something.
besides there are public bins about go fucking find one because if I can’t fit my rubbish in it I have to keep it inside for 2 more weeks! Use a public bin and stop being a twat!

All very well except for the time the bin had just been emptied and some twat put a dog poo bag in there which then split. DH had to clean the wheelie bin. The air turned blue as he did it! Crisp bag, no problem but if I see anyone put a shit bag in my wheelie bin I will take it out, follow them home and put it through their letterbox.
