OH never opens food packaging properly - he rips it to shreds. Stabs butter foil in the middle, the same with yogurt or cream. This morning, bag of catfood - resealable bag - ripped through the side... i want to scream.

Cheating and lying I could rugsweep, men will be men and all that. But complete contempt and disgust and disregard for food packaging is definitely where I set the bar. 😂

Sadly, it's my Dad who's like this so I can't divorce him. He rips open nearly full £3 packets of wet wipes (back when the only ones that didn't irritate my middle sons skin were water wipes). I wasn't impressed, putting them in a zip lock bag afterwards does little to help the matter.

I spend a lot of time complaining about DESIGN !
DESIGN IN EVERY ASPECT OF OUR LIVES..design of homes, forms, rules, accesses, packaging, tools, everything.

I dunno what idiots train these ' designers', but there's a lot of idiots.
Idiots trying to revamp designs just to be ' different of cool', when the new version is worse than the old version.

DESIGN is often the problem !
Hardly surprising ppl get frustrated & just 'get in ' however they can.
No time tryna work out some fancy looking packaging & wtf was in some kids head when they presented the new ' design ' to the product manager...

So...instead of thinking about divorce ( really ? Coz if you are, you made a mistake in the first place !)..& sure, discuss....
Then, get off your butts & complain to the companies.
Start a petition.
DO something about it !

You are correct.... DESIGN IS NOW about image over functionality.

This is SO annoying ! Especially with wet wipes of any kind. Why can't they open them properly and don't they think how wasteful it is to leave the whole packet to dry out? my DH also cuts into compost bags in the middle, so they can't be reused for rubbish bags, at the very least. Asking (telling?) him to cut open at one end is apparently being a control freak >

My (ex) husband had a baby with a 17-yr-old when he was 46 whilst we were married. What is the punishment for that?

My ex was like this. literally one careless thing after another.
I think his finest moment was on Christmas day one year when I was tidying up after dinner. I couldn’t find the box to hungry hippos. T**t had only crushed it up and thrown it out with the wrapping paper.
I was fuming. Absolutely fuming.

I think it is a weird kind of blindness - like face blindness, but the packaging variety.

My hubby is super intelligent, works a job with a lot of responsibility, but he is completely stumped by the packaging on wet wipes.

if you do, as annoying as this behaviour is, imagine life without and you'll realise shit happens, we aren't promised tomorrow, so deal with your reaction to it all. One day he may not be here so look at the bigger picture. I can say thus from a position of knowledge. My hubby died in 2016. All the stupid squabbles etc I realised had wasted our time together. #dontwastetimeonstupidshit
