To ask how many Easter eggs have you eaten today?

Oh god.

I've had two and half Easter eggs, a creme egg and a small bag of chocolate buttons Blush

Awful I know. But I have the awful mentality that I should eat it all now rather than let it derail my healthy eating by eating bits every day. I know this is dysfunctional...I also find it hard to stop once I start.

Can anyone beat me?

None yet…. DH and I eat ours in the evening after the kids are in bed. Best enjoyed in peace!
We have a large Maltesers one, a large Twirl one and a box of chocolates. Reckon we’ll have one each night for the next 3 night…. We’re both chocoholics!

WeAllHaveWings · 17/04/2022 20:14

Gave up on eggs years ago when even ds could tell the chocolate in most of them is even crappier than the normal crap.

Cheesechips · 17/04/2022 20:15

None. Have an upset stomach so will save them!

inappropriateraspberry · 17/04/2022 20:17

2 mini eggs. Will probably have something later, but not a whole egg. Would rather have crisps to be honest!

Madre123 · 17/04/2022 20:19

None...on a diet...bought some for my son in law, gift for my daughter and a box of 48 crème eggs for my son...hope u enjoyed 😊

CandyLeBonBon · 17/04/2022 20:24

I've eaten 3/4 of a pack of mini eggs and shared a pack of lindor mini eggs with my oh. I don't often eat chocolate. I've just lost 16kg and I loved every sugary morsel!

This is mumsnet. Everyone eats a 1000 calories a day here. 😂[/quote]
Grin yeah and those come from the roast chicken that’s made to feed 4 for 2 weeks….

bluebellsandcustard · 17/04/2022 20:28

None. No thanks!

Babdoc · 17/04/2022 20:33

Only half an egg, but my adult DD polished off 13 roast potatoes with the lamb joint!

StillSmallVoice · 17/04/2022 20:35

My Tesco delivery yesterday was missing the Lindt bunnies. Glad I had done an Aldi run for lots of very little eggs. I had one. DH none. Adult DD happy to gather them all up and take them home. Win all round.

(Not a chocolate person. Give me cheese please.)

Spaghag · 17/04/2022 20:39

None as I don't like chocolate.

But I have had a huge roast dinner, a bottle of wine and am now considering opening another bottle Wink.

Jalepenojello · 17/04/2022 20:41

1 cream egg. Not as good as they used to be Sad I ate my egg on Friday

StillSmallVoice · 17/04/2022 20:46

@Spaghag like your style Smile

Coinchend · 17/04/2022 20:46

Find them a bit boring. Much prefer the pickled eggs I had!

AlmostAJillSandwich · 17/04/2022 20:51

Too many Sad
had a lindt egg and 2 mini bunnies for breakfast, and a lovely easter basket of all types of little choc eggs (after eight, dairy milk, daim, creme egg, aero) inside plastic eggs and a bar of cadbury hot cross bun chocolate throughout the day. Feeling thoroughly sick, and very guilty for breaking my diet, so my larger lindt egg with bunny is staying unopened, might even hide it and hope i forget for a few months!
I did manage to adult and make a roast duck dinner by myself which im proud of, and made my dad happy as he couldn't be bothered cooking! I find i can never eat after making a meal though, get too hot and bothered doing it and lose my appetite (or that may still be the choccy talking) Grin

Furrbabymama87 · 17/04/2022 20:52

1 large and a few bites of another.

Chesneyhawkes1 · 17/04/2022 20:52

LethargeMarg · 17/04/2022 20:53

Half an orange twirl egg - found it a bit sickly . Would have eaten loads more had I had more eggs to eat

Notwithittoday · 17/04/2022 20:54

I’ve eaten a whole crème egg Easter egg which consisted of the hollow egg and two crème eggs, half a Lindt hollow egg, two mini Lindt bunnies and three small hollow eggs from the kids Easter hunt.

Don't know why, but this made me chuckle! Grin
FreezyFreezy · 17/04/2022 20:59

Equivalent to a normal sized easter egg I think. Possibly more.

48?! Didn't know you could get boxes of 48! That's like, 2 weeks supply! Shock All in one box. Grin
Squeakyblinder · 17/04/2022 21:28

None

Hubby didn't buy me one cos I once said I gone off chocolate ,apparently Angry

Fairislefandango · 17/04/2022 21:29

One Malteser truffle that dd gave me from one of her eggs.
We don't do easter eggs for adults. I can't resist chocolate but it doesn't really agree with me, so I try to resist having it!

SocksAndTheCity · 17/04/2022 21:31

None, but I ate a box of chocolates yesterday in front of the TV and a bag of mini eggs on Friday plus hot cross buns and so on.

I will have my main egg tomorrow Smile
