if it's 9 o clock at night. I mean, surely, they won't be needed late evening?

Or should I not?

I never did, if I didn't have dd in the car, no matter what the time.

horsemadgal · 08/01/2008 21:39

I did last night. The place was empty and the passing security guard didn't flinch.

2shoes · 08/01/2008 21:40

go for it tots should be in bed by then

makingnosense · 08/01/2008 21:41

On a side note, as a heavily pregnant woman, I wish I could park in a parent and child space. Its flippin impossible trying to get out of the car in the other spaces!

Spidermama · 08/01/2008 21:43

YABperfectlyR.

You're probably going to get a real bollocking on here now!!But, no, yanbu.
It really infuriates me when people park in those spaces, and they have a perfectly able 11 year old in tow, quite able to walk from a normal space.
Also what seems to be a problem, is when mothers have their dp/dh in the car with them, and a baby/toddler, and the mother and baby park in the M&B space, and wait in the car while dp/dh goes into the shop. Usually dp/dh, is not a child!!

snice · 08/01/2008 21:48

You are on a slippery MN slope now-next thing you'll be elbowing disabled people aside to get to the Fruitshoots.

mumzyof2 · 08/01/2008 21:48

makingnosense, i have parked in M&B spaces when pg, I have sciatica, and sometimes really struggle just getting out of the car. Would never take the last place though - in fact, always feel slightly guilty about taking the last place, even with my ds in tow - not sure why!

mumzyof2 · 08/01/2008 21:50

at snice
Or sitting in your car...in a disabled space...drinking fruit shoots!

ticks · 08/01/2008 21:50

i agree with making no sense - in portugal they have spaces for pregnant women, what a great idea! and no yanbu tots should be in bed

RosaLuxOnTheBrightSideOfLife · 08/01/2008 21:50

Just hold still here while I find the rotten eggs.

nametaken · 08/01/2008 21:52

well there were about 15 spaces with no-one in them and it was absolutely peeing down so I did.

What is it with fruitshoots? Are they banned on mumsnet? or just banned if your middle class?

2shoes · 08/01/2008 21:53

mumzyof2 · 08/01/2008 21:53

ticks · 08/01/2008 21:54

VeniVidiVickiQV · 08/01/2008 21:55

Is someone bored?

paddingtonbear1 · 08/01/2008 21:55
