if it's 9 o clock at night. I mean, surely, they won't be needed late evening?

Or should I not?

I think after 10 years you are fogiven
just parked on the doubles out side the chippy. dd and ds in car. I went in and 2 pc's came along. ds had opened the sliding door and one was talking. shot out as I had not put badge in. he was so sweet he just asked dd(cp and in wheepchair) if she had broken any laws

saw in the paper today that asda are going to fine for misuse of disabled and p&t bays and give the money to moterbility and tommys. how good is that

Don't bother feeling guilty, ladies!
Behold:
This morning, drove into the Mother
and Toddler spaces in pouring rain with howling baby and gammy leg (not entitled to a disabled badge).
Parked in Mother and Toddler space, looming over those next to it: huge 4X4 with every seat crammed with metal and canvas bits and pieces. On roof, a very long rowing boat.
Hmm, certainly no room for babies, unless they're popped into the boat on the roof.
Sadly I had no paper or pen with me, so I'm reduced to moaning online. GRRRRRRRRRR.

Herbgarden, I'm a M&B parking nazi as well. I used to regularly 'challenge' people with invisible babies. My Mum thought M&B spaces were just because we're all lazy now!!!! I explained that M&B spaces are w i d e r to allow us to squeeze our fat arses in the back seat doors to strap and unstrap small children and remove baby seats. As soon as mine were big enough to strap themselves in I stopped using the spaces. If all parking spaces were 50 cm wider I'm not sure i'd see the need for separate parent and baby parking. Yes, it's 'nicer' being nearer to the store entrance when it's tipping down with rain, but it's not going to kill us (or the babies) getting rained on for the 60 second dash across the car park!

Must say I have been known to park in parent and baby spaces late at night/eve when there are loadsa spaces available.
