Dcat has decided it no longer suits His Fluffiness to exit the house through the doors. Instead he wants to come in and out via the living room window. This means I have to stop what I'm doing, open the window and pick up whatever he has knocked off in the process of wriggling out. If I try to guide him through the door, shake food at the door, etc he just sits on the windowsill and screams.
This is new, and very annoying.
Is he BU? Or am I?

YABU, open the window???!!!

My DDog has voted YABU. This is the same dog that whinges to go out, so I open the back door and then he stands and looks at me like I’m mentally ill. So I close the door and resume whatever.

Lather, rinse, repeat.

YABVVVU.

Our DCat like the tap the cat flap (continuisly) until someone opens the door for her, because obviously she can use the said cat flap. We are all ready to do this for her at anytime.

You said that this is new behaviour. Please confirm this is really your cat and not a doppelganger and that your cat isnt in someone else's house looking for a cat flap. Before you laugh at me there are many recorded cases where cat owners have thought their cat was displaying new behaviours, only to find their cat was also in the same room.

Oh. And cats are never unreasonable. You need to adjust your expectations Smile
