Ill child - posting for traffic

Hi shamelessly posting for traffic.

My daughter has woken up today (age 4) insists nothing is wrong but is SO pale and doesn't want to eat or drink. She's been asleep back in bed since 9am, just got up for 5 minutes and has now gone back to bed again. No temperature, nothing else obviously wrong. I was thinking sick bug/tummy bug etc but surely something would have happened by now? I'd usually just go along with it and see what happens but care isn't as good over the weekend but our docs is brilliant if I get her seen today. Is it worth contacting the GP (or 111 etc) or will they just say 🤷‍♀️ there's nothing actually really wrong. My instincts are saying there is something wrong 😕 don't know what to do.

Glad she’s feeling better. Before I saw she was better I was going to ask if she’s lost weight, drinking more or using the toilet more as extreme tiredness along with the symptoms I’ve just mentioned are signs of type 1 diabetes and worth bearing in mind.

Thank you for the last few posters- lots of info I wasn't aware of so will bear that in mind and keep monitoring her

Bless her. There's some nasty bugs doing the rounds, the nursery that I work at has really been struggling with low numbers. I felt cruddy yesterday, very lethargic and just off, but nothing really appeared.

Hope she's ok x

Thank you 😊 up this morning, a good colour seemed fine now has started to droop again. Took her about 20 minutes to eat one piece of toast. She looks like she feels sick but keeps saying no I'm fine. Lots of huffing and puffing. Not sure what is going on but she says she feels weak. I'll do another another test.

Test negative. Absolutely fine now up and dancing and behaving as normal. So so weird!!
