Now there is a giant ad on mobile view covering the top half of the page!
One was for animal rights in Australia, the others seem to be Ross from friends with a variety of different women. You can't even click them off.
Incredibly annoying. Do MN not worry it'll stop people using the site?

You’re welcome ATrifleofFun. The flame button at the bottom will clear out everything if you feel any ads are starting to sneak through. To keep your MN login details go to .../settings/fireproof sites/ask to fireproof sites on login then toggle that button on.

Press the flame button (which will close and clean anything open) and then log into MN. It will ask if you want to fireproof MN, click yes. You’ll have to scroll through all those vendor preferences to toggle off the “legitimate interest” this time but after that DuckDuckGo will remember login details even if you flame everything so you won’t have to do the “legitimate interest” tedious scroll again.

MN on my mobile is almost unusable. It is so ad-heavy that it loads at a snail's pace - and often even appears to freeze.

The ads are intrusive but my main gripe is the CONSTANT have to consent to the privacy bollocks.

This bloody thing pops up after every thread I read, and I have to leave the site completely each time. Very irritating.
