Just thought I’d run this up the AIBU flagpole and see who salutes.

I’m coming into this thread with an open kimono, so if any one else would like to share the inner workings of their mind palace in order to grow together that would be great. We can always circle back to the original point.

Feel free to ping me off thread if theirs insufficient bandwidth to complete your thoughts here. No need to boil the ocean right now.

Basically, a recruiter has reached out asking me to be a thought leader. I’ve been actively eating my own dog food on a parallel path, but it might be time to spread the butter wider. Thoughts?

Yeah, I echo what @Whosthebestbabainalltheworld says.

Also, as noted upstream, a cumulative impact assessment could play well here, I'd suggest loading that in a sandbox environment to ensure adequate testing of waterfall follow through functionally.

God I use a lot of these.

Bandwidth (my lack of)
Circle back round (because otherwise my idiot stakeholders will forget what I've done for them)
Straw man (how else would you describe a comms plan written to still unclear dates?)

The one that annoys me is "shall we take this offline?" When invariably that means talking via email which is by nature online!!

Have you fully categorised and communicated the level of risk associated with an open kimono?
I think it’s mainly foxes who face risk from open kimonos.

Hmmm... we could throw it in the strategy wok and see if it sizzles, but we might need a deep dive thematic before we can solutionise this one. Let's stick a pin in it and circle back - we might get away with just kicking the tyres if it's not in our KRIs.

I cannot believe that we don’t have a v-team in the co-lab on this project. Let’s break down those silos but keep it agile. Maybe have a sprint against these KPIs, circle back round with the stakeholders before we take it forward?

In the interests of modelling skillful time management to the team, with one eye on rest and recuperation while addressing my personal work life balance, I'm going to mull this over and ping my ideas round the team at a later stage. Loving the blue sky thinking but need to consider sustainability and how it'll all work on an operational level. Let's all touch base soon - meantime, keep in the loop so we can synergise and move forward now we've got the bare bones of a strategy vis a vis team culture.
