For me it would be a close run race between a Terry's Pyramint or an original a Secret bar...

Definitely Golden Cup!

Rumba

Banana Toffos

DdraigGoch · 18/03/2022 23:07

Dairy Milk. The proper one from before the Americans ruined it.

lashy · 18/03/2022 23:07

Fuse

Cherrysoup · 18/03/2022 23:08

Given how often Texan bars are mentioned,I don’t understand why they haven’t been re-made. Whoever did it could just post on here for endless sales!

EasterCheeks · 18/03/2022 23:08

Golden cup

justasking111 · 18/03/2022 23:09

Icebreaker mint crisp chocolate.

There was also a chocolate and coconut bar, like a mars bar but with coconut. Can't recall the name now

DeirdreRashid · 18/03/2022 23:09

Not a bar, but coffee creams from the roses tin. You cannot get decent coffee creams anywhere on the high street these days!

Blackmagicqueen · 18/03/2022 23:09

Oh yes I'd forgotten about banana toffos and the plain ones in red tube too. Also used to love soft centre frosties as a kid but maybe wouldn't so much now!

OliviaBond · 18/03/2022 23:10

@Boomerwang

Cadburys mint crisp. Probably still exists but I haven't seen it for years. Also fuse bar and wispa gold
There were some Cadbury mint crisp bars around near Christmas last year I think? I certainly had some sort of Cadbury minty choc bar anyway
JimmyShoo · 18/03/2022 23:11

Apart from Spira mine are all Easter egg related!

Fresh minty eggs
Rolo eggs
Dream eggs - Cadbury’s white chocolate with a white choc mousse centre. Sickly but lovely!

LightSpeeds · 18/03/2022 23:11

@Imtoooldforallthis

I don't know anybody else that remembers this but Mint Cracknall, or at least that's what I think it was called.
I remember Mint Cracknell. It was lovely...
Davros · 18/03/2022 23:13

Golden cup, especially the small one that was a bit like a spanner!
Chocolate tools

Blackmagicqueen · 18/03/2022 23:15

@Usernamenotavailabletryanother so good! I remember a golden cup being such a treat and posher than a Cadbury caramel. Still remember peeling back the gold foil.

LightSpeeds · 18/03/2022 23:16

I much preferred Milky Way before they changed the filling.

Coffee Walnut Whips and any coffee creams...

Not chocolate, but I REALLY miss Cadbury Flake Cakes.

soulinablackberrypie · 18/03/2022 23:16

Cabana and/or Applause. I also liked some chocolate biscuits called Montego that you could possibly only ever get in the north.

TigerMTV · 18/03/2022 23:17

Lion bars!

HeadNorth · 18/03/2022 23:17

Cabana

EeeICouldRipATissue · 18/03/2022 23:17

I used to love the Secret chocolate bars 😍
Not seen them for years though

TheYearOfSmallThings · 18/03/2022 23:19

The Drifter, Mars Delight, and Fox's Echo.

Gone but not forgotten.

FrecklesMalone · 18/03/2022 23:19

A proper fruit and nut bar before Cadburys turned into a oily sweet bleugh.

Blackmagicqueen · 18/03/2022 23:20

@TigerMTV you can still get Lion bars and in more flavours too!

Tomeeornottomee · 18/03/2022 23:20

I never liked the cherry element of cabana and would nibble my way around them. Star bars seem to be a rarity in shops these days and frys peppermint creams. I know they’re both still available because I see them at the cash and carry... can’t see me eating my way through a £40 box though 😂

VivienneDelacroix · 18/03/2022 23:20

Fry's Five.

WhisperGold · 18/03/2022 23:23

Bar Six.
This thread has also reminded me of Five centres.
I miss five cetres.

Sweetpeasaremadeforbees · 18/03/2022 23:23

When I was very, very small, there was a bar like a Crunchie, but HUGE, covered in dark chocolate and the crunchie bit was minty. To give an idea of how big it was, you could get eight sweets for a penny, crisps for 12p, a mini milk for 8p and this beauty was 30p.

I was trying to think of this. The minty bit was more powdery than a Crunchie if it's what I'm thinking of.

Also coffee walnut whips. M and S did a cappuccino one for a while but they seem to have stopped it.

Golden Cups were gorgeous, far nicer than a Cadbury's Caramel.
