For me it would be a close run race between a Terry's Pyramint or an original a Secret bar...

Cadbury's crunch in white chocolate

Cadbury's Moments (or was it Galaxy Moments??)

DinglyDellsBells · 19/03/2022 18:37

My mother remembers Frys 5 boys, which had a different centre in each segment.
I still buy her frys chocolate cream as a treat.

Five Boys was just milk chocolate and had a moulded picture of an Edwardian boy in five emotional stages waiting for this choccy bar ("expectation...realisation.."etc).

Five Centres (?) had the different fillings.

Oh really?! She is almost 80 so probably has confused memory, she certainly remembers the different flavoured segments

Blackmagicqueen · 19/03/2022 19:00

They were cadburys moments and the crunch bar was nestle. They still do the milk one but the white one is very hard to find these days.

HRTQueen · 19/03/2022 19:08

I remember Five Centres I have a number of years until I reach 80 ….

Think it was still around in the 90’s

HRTQueen · 19/03/2022 19:15

I felt sophisticated when I bought Five Centres it was considered an adults chocolate bar

They discontinued making it in 92 Shock

WalkingOnTheCracks · 19/03/2022 19:17

The original Picnic when it was biscuity rather than peanutty.

Spent years trying to remember the name of the chocolate bar that I spent all of my dinner money on in the mid 90's, and this thread has reminded me!

Maverick bar, at least 2 bars a day and no wonder I'm now the size of a house BlushGrin

They sell raspberry and orange filled ones in b&m:)
MissMatty2hats · 19/03/2022 21:13

All the best Cadbury chocolate is over here in Ireland. We have mint crisps, golden crisp, tiffin bars, caramello (like the golden cup bar, nothing like a Cadbury’s caramel bar), amazing Turkish delight bars and all the chocolate is much nicer. At the crumb factory in Kerry they have two different recipes for the chocolate crumb. One goes to the UK and the nicer one is for the Irish market.

soulinablackberrypie · 19/03/2022 21:16

There was a bar that had bits of biscuit and sultanas in a chocolate bar - I think it was Cadburys. They were my favourite- haven't seen them for years though and can't remember what they were called now

When I was a kid they were called Country Store and had a pink and white gingham patterned wrapper. Nowadays the closest thing is Tiffin.
