For me it would be a close run race between a Terry's Pyramint or an original a Secret bar...

My mother remembers Frys 5 boys, which had a different centre in each segment.
I still buy her frys chocolate cream as a treat.

@TotalRhubarb

Fry’s five centres
Fry's Five Centres are the first one that came to my mind too! They were lovely and I've often wondered why they stopped making them! Aztec bars were nice as well!

Anyone one remember 'risk it for a Swisskit'?

GCMM · 19/03/2022 14:08

Showing my age here, but Swisskit definitely...I still sometimes say their advertising slogan 'would you risk it for a Swisskit?'

2Gen · 19/03/2022 14:08

@LakieLady- Shall we make a petition to Fry's to bring them back, lol? I did come across multi-packs of Fry's RASPBERRY Creams in Mr. Price , a discount store in Ireland. They were lovely too but I only got one out of the first pack I bought because my bold DH ate the rest, grrrrr!
I hid the next pack, and ate them when he was out or asleep, hehehehe!
Sadly, I didn't see any last time I was in Mr. Price.

Mars delight. I loved them so so much!

@Pyewhacket

Aztec and Old Jamaica
Yes! I haven't seen Old Jamaica for years and I miss it. Aldi sometimes has a rum and raisin bar which is nice, but OJ was even nicer! I liked Aztecs too!
00deed1988 · 19/03/2022 14:16

Oh and Cadbury marble!

Butteredtoast55 · 19/03/2022 14:21

I used to love a Cadbury's Amazin' and we would have a sleepover at my Grandma's on a Saturday and be allowed a piece of Old Jamaica!

Butteredtoast55 · 19/03/2022 14:22

Also, Bar Six which was a but like a chunkier Kit Kat

2Gen · 19/03/2022 14:33

@MiladyBerserko

It all used to taste delicious and now it all tastes like shit. Would be great to see any Cadbury product once again made with 'a glass and a half of whole cream milk'. And no palm oil.
I agree wholeheartedly! Why the bloody hell have they done it I wonder? To make more profit from using cheap and nasty palm oil, instead of cows' milk, I suppose! They're RUINED Creme Eggs for a start! Money-grabbing bastards!
Daisychainsandglitter · 19/03/2022 14:40

Fuse.
Other than that I would really like Cadbury's to switch their recipe back to how their chocolate used to taste. Disgusting nowadays.

2Gen · 19/03/2022 14:40

@ClariceQuiff

... I mean, how could these taste so vile? I promise you, they did.
I used to love the lime one, but most of the others could well have been horrible! I only remember the lime one (and a fruit jelly that was quite nice too) though!
Notanotherwindow · 19/03/2022 15:23

Mars Delight

kizzywizz · 19/03/2022 15:49

@nicesausages

There was a bar that had bits of biscuit and sultanas in a chocolate bar - I think it was Cadburys. They were my favourite- haven't seen them for years though and can't remember what they were called now
Would this have been Country Style Bar, in a pink and white gingham wrapper ?
OfstedOffred · 19/03/2022 16:17

  1. we've all got used to chocolate being cheap, so we won't pay enough
  2. in the past the cocoa market was practically staffed by slaves! The people at the bottom probably get paid marginally more for their crop now, but that means either a) we pay more or b) quality gets reduced.
Raspberrymeringue88 · 19/03/2022 16:20

Oh I loved Terry's Neopolitans!

The nearest to those I have found is the Cafe Tasse assortment...

shivawn · 19/03/2022 16:26

I live in Ireland but I think this one was probably in the UK too.....Drifter.

Ihaveroyallyscrewedup · 19/03/2022 16:28

Original milkways, they were so good!
The fry’s five centres were amazing.
