Does he realise where the money they would have to pay him if he was successful in suing, would come from?

The British public

Thanks Harry.

It was you who claimed that everything is the fault of females
No she didn't, like I said how on earth did you come to that conclusion?

Migrainesbythedozen · 18/03/2022 23:42

@Princelett

I certainly don't blame females for everything. You seem to be implying that you know what I believe with regard to all women. It was you who claimed that everything is the fault of females. I would be ashamed to put that in print. I think there are many, many admirable and wonderful women.
You certainly place all the blame on Meghan. For being 'very ambitious' to how she alone chose a name. Your misogyny is clear, you certainly should be ashamed of what you put in print, given it's clear you believe everything is the fault of females (Meghan) and not the fault of the male (Harry).

As @Blossomtoes sensibly suggested name calling is unnecessary. Troll hunting breaks talk guidelines. It also detracts from reasoned discussion about this issue.

cherrycokr · 18/03/2022 23:45

@Princelett what umbrage do you have with ambition?

Princelett · 18/03/2022 23:46

A good reminder to us all @Pixiedust1234

PierresPotato · 18/03/2022 23:48

I can't stand this guy.
If he ever truly wanted a quiet life of service he's gone the wrong way about it. He should have consulted the Duchess of Kent.

@Migrainesbythedozen
And you are making personal attacks which breaks talk guidelines and has nothing to do with this issue.
Don't make personal attacks on posters. It breaks talk guidelines. Stick to the issue inviting reasonable discussion.

I'm not making any personal attacks. You are the one making personal attacks.

So when are you going to stop de-railing and address why you think it's wrong for a female to be ambitious?

Why do you think only Meghan alone chose her daughter's name?

Prudencia · 19/03/2022 00:00

So, back to Harry suing the Home Office.............

Blossomtoes · 19/03/2022 00:01

I'm not making any personal attacks

You are. And have done so to pretty much anyone who doesn’t agree with you. You’ve been reminded about MN guidelines twice in as many hours.

cherrycokr · 19/03/2022 00:04

@Princelett using the word ambition as a slur against a women is misogynistic 🙄

cherrycokr · 19/03/2022 00:05

Stick to the issue inviting reasonable discussion

Why don't you enlighten us as to why ambition is bad?

Migrainesbythedozen · 19/03/2022 00:07

I haven't, however you have made personal attacks against me, and didn't even apologise, even when I pointed out to you how offensive your posts can be to a person of colour like myself. Being reminded by MN guidelines by another poster who themselves aren't sticking to the guidelines is not a 'reminder'. Perhaps you yourself should be reminded of them.

Whether Meghan is or is not ambitious has nothing to do with Harry and the Home Office. Some posters appear to be chasing others away by accusing them of misogyny or whatever. It isn't in the spirit of friendly discussion on MN.

Blossomtoes · 19/03/2022 00:11

however you have made personal attacks against me

In which case, do feel free to report them.

Pixiedust1234 · 19/03/2022 00:11

Oh look....there's a squirrel!!!

Don't be conned by others talking about anything that isn't Harry. Its intentional to derail the thread so it gets deleted. Dont fall for it.

Harry needs to pull up his big boy pants and learn that not everything is about him.

He's an utter knob.
🤭 Keeping the thread on topic. Well done. 👍
theemperorhasnoclothes · 19/03/2022 00:15

@Prudencia

So, back to Harry suing the Home Office.............
Exactly.

De-railing is anything that strays from the very clear topic at hand which is Harry suing the Home Office for money that could be spent, I don't know, off the top of my head:
1 - making it easier for Ukranian refugees to come to the UK
2 - preventing illegal trafficking

I mean there are others, obviously.

I wish anyone who wants to talk about Meghan or their baby name choices would make their own thread.

It's almost like Harry's trying to derail the thread himself to point it away from what a total selfish self-centred arse he's being.

I mean the utter gall to say the UK security services who, as someone else has pointed out, have not 'lost' any visting big wigs recently so have a pretty impressive track record, are wrong and he - with his copious lack of security service experience - is right. And that's before you even get to the part about stealing public money that could be used to help so many more people rather than protect one rich brat who doesn't even need to come to the UK at all.

Suing the UK public so he can have a holiday at their expense?

I wish he'd stay in the USA.

There are many UK families who haven't managed to go abroad on holiday for the past 2 years, even those who's families are abroad. With rising costs, many still will be unable to.

Why should those same people fund him to come here?

Migrainesbythedozen · 19/03/2022 00:16

That's right, it isn't, hence why myself and others admonished that poster for their misogyny. Pointing out the clear misogyny in someone's post isn't chasing others away. It's simply calling out the misogyny that is all too pervasive in society and needs to be called out. Promoting misogyny is not in the spirit of friendly discussion on MN.

theemperorhasnoclothes · 19/03/2022 00:20

It's misogynistic to sue the Home Office for money that could be spent trying to stop human trafficking (the majority of trafficked individuals are female).

Oh give over! That's desperate reaching if ever I saw it.
