appears to be the last line of the 6 year old's version of Jingle Bells

Jingle Bells, Batman Smells
Robin flew away
Landed on a football pitch
and didn't know how to play

hey

Jingle Bells, Batman Smells
Robin Flew away
Uncle Billy lost his willy
on the motorway

We used to sing that. Not at school, obviously.

VictorianSqualor · 04/01/2008 16:27

That's the one we sang when I was at school (well the second verse anyway), and I have to confess I told it to my 7yo

MrsKittylette · 04/01/2008 16:28

Uncle Billy had a 10 foot willy,
He showed it to the girl next door.

She thought it was a snake and she hit it with a rake
now Billys Willys 4ft 4.

LadyMuck · 04/01/2008 16:30

At least yours rhymes. Ds1 (also 6) has changed the last verse to

Jingle Bells, Batman Smells
Robin laid an egg
Uncle Billy burnt his willy
in the microwave

I wonder whether I was wasting my breath trying to explain why it should rhyme...

emsiewill · 04/01/2008 16:31

I thought he lost his willy on the M4 motorway...

SpottyHamster · 04/01/2008 16:31

Another version I have heard:

Jingle bells, Batman smells
Robin laid an egg
Mr Silly lost his willy
On the motorway
HEY

I also like this one-not Christmassy- (from a yr 6, to the tune of I love you you love me by Barney the purple Dinosaur)

I love drugs
Drugs love me
I love heroin & extasy
With a little bit here
and a little bit there
Now I'm in intensive care

ElevenRustyPipersPiping · 04/01/2008 16:35

In our town it's Jingle Bells, Bracknell smells...
(Apologies to anyone from Bracknell, but it seems universal round here)

in ours wonderwoman lost her knickers on the M6 motorway!!

Spidermama · 04/01/2008 16:50

Yep this version concurs with the current fashionable lyrics across Brighton Primary schools too.

ABudafulSightWereHappyTonight · 04/01/2008 16:53

DS sings the Uncle Billy version too. I had never heard it and he convinced me that he and a friend had made it up!

MrsGuyOfGisbourne · 04/01/2008 16:55

We've had this - I think its rather good! Has them doubled up with laughter - every time...!

Blu · 04/01/2008 16:55

Uncle Billy has been taking scant care of his nether regions for at least 15 years Twig - my common-law step dd from a former relationship used to sing it when she was 3, 15 years ago!

Twiglett · 04/01/2008 16:56

must be a southern thing

frogs · 04/01/2008 16:56

Twig's ds's version was doing the rounds in Hackney about 8 years ago.

Jura's version was current when I was little, except the last two lines were:

"Evacuate the area
And then you won't smell the pong."

It always makes me hoot with laughter when they come back insisting their best friend made up some new rhyme, and it turns out to be something that we were singing at primary school way back in the 70s.

Twiglett · 04/01/2008 16:57

although I'm extremely proud to note that I do not actually know the tune of Barney the dinosaur (I always knew he was the fount of evil)

Cappuccino · 04/01/2008 16:57

god I have just remembered one from school, a really long one

it has made me feel all dirty

frogs · 04/01/2008 16:57

We've had My Friend Billy here too, which I also remember from school, and also Willy Was a Watchdog.

Sadly, I still find them really funny.

bozza · 04/01/2008 16:58

Not southern twig because DS is full of Uncle Billy and his willy.

lucyellensmum · 04/01/2008 17:38

jingle bells
batman smells
robin flew away

father christmas lost his knickers
on the motor way

currantbunmum · 04/01/2008 17:43

Jingle bells, Batman smells
Robin flew away,
Daddy lost his underpants on the M4 motorway.

(DH would like it to be known, there is no truth in this rumour)

Threadworm · 04/01/2008 17:48

Uncle Billy
Lost his willy
Gillian Taylforth found it

In a four x four
With an open door
And policemen all around it.

psychomum5 · 04/01/2008 18:00

my 5yr old sings this.....and when I ask him ever so nicely to stop, DH laughs and he gets louder

seems to be a boy thing.

my girlies hate it, so now have taken to singing properly over the top......can you imagine the noise.

and can you guess that at these times I do indeed live up to my name

SquirdleSomeCreamOnMyXmasPud · 04/01/2008 18:38

Hey Psycho
