appears to be the last line of the 6 year old's version of Jingle Bells

Jingle Bells, Batman Smells
Robin flew away
Landed on a football pitch
and didn't know how to play

hey

Jingle Bells, Batman Smells
Robin Flew away
Uncle Billy lost his willy
on the motorway

Would you like 2 more boys? Twill even things out a bit!

Quattrocento · 04/01/2008 18:39

Thank god - I thought it was just my DCs who had invented that.

They have an Uncle Billy by the way so it is NOT FUNNY.

MrsBadger · 04/01/2008 19:09

go on Capp, what was it?

MrsBadger · 04/01/2008 19:12

(oh, and in N.London it was 5'4" after the rake attack)

and wasn't there one about Herbert, the boy next door, that went to the tune of Colonel Bogey?
[thinks]
'Mummy, I love the boy next door
Mummy, he got me on the floor
Mummy, look at my tummy
It's getting bigger and bigger each day'

'Herbert, what have you done to me?
Herbert, I'm having a ba-by
Herbert, we'll call it Sherbert
Then there'll be Herbert and Sherbert and me'

God, I'll be skipping with elastic next...

blousy · 04/01/2008 19:18

Spooky! I caught 5yo ds singing this in the bath last night! Told him off (after 1st establishing which herbert had taught it to him) and today I note it has changed to 'Lost his wheel on the motorway'. Felt like a killjoy immediately..

cameroonmama · 04/01/2008 19:18

we have interchangeable last lines,

'uncle Billy lost his willy on the motorway' or 'auntie Ruby lost her booby on the motorway' or the best so far 'Daisy's mother lost her cover on the motorway'

I can't wait for next Christmas

FlameNFurter · 04/01/2008 19:22

Lol - I always remember:

Jingle bells, batman smells,
robin flew away
Then he flew right back again and now they both are gay

i remember herbert and sherbet too

My 5 and 6 yr olds have been singing this too.

Dd (6) is reading this and learning all the new lyrics

fireflytoo · 06/01/2008 14:45

My DDs have the most gruesome Mary had a little lamb jokes....

MAMAZON · 06/01/2008 14:50

we used to sing this when i was little, so yes its considerably older than 15

my brothers have come up with some belters over the years.

i have to go out and have a sly snigger at some of them

tortoiseSHELL · 06/01/2008 14:52

We did
Jingle Bells
Batman Smells
Robin Flew Away

The batmobile
Lost a wheel
On the motorway

Amazing how hard it is to actually sing the correct words now(!).

BettySpaghetti · 06/01/2008 14:55

Just reaised that DD sang the version in the OP last year.

Luckily it seems to have slipped her mind this year (especially as DS (3) is still singing Jingle Bells on a daily basis and is likely to until at least April )

LynetteScavo · 06/01/2008 14:57

Little donkey, little donely on the M45
Got run onver, by a Rover, little donkey dies.

I don not want to hear this one again, thanks DS1

Did anyone use to sing "When suzy was a baby"?

I used to perform this with actions to my Grandmother and very prim great aunts when I was six. Including the verse

When Suzy was a teenager a tenager she was,
She went a oooh, ahhh, I lost my bra,
I lsft my knickers in my boyfriends car.
