Just a short one, and venting really.
DP decided to change the bedding this morning, and complained that 'all of the duvet covers are missing'. (they're not)
Anyway, he went to work and I went to put a clean cover on, and couldn't find the dirty one anywhere - not in the wash basket, or in a pile. So I rang him - where's the duvet cover you took off?
reply - 'it's in the back of my car, I'm taking it to the dump, I've always hated it'
To which I replied 'Fuck that. I'm going to throw away all the stuff of yours that I hate!'

I love it - it’s my guest bedroom duvet set.
In fact I love it that much that I have it as my ironing board cover!
Yes, you need to sort this out. There is no way either of us would just take stuff to the tip that the other one likes.

My ex was like this. He was an abusive ass. He was controlling and he would always find a way to sabotage anything I enjoyed or liked. As a single incident I can understand the comments you've got but there's obviously a history. Never too late to leave, life is too short to be miserable.

everyone saying how horrid that set is i must have no taste as i have the same one in dark blue and pale grey and i love both of them my OH wouldnt even notice what duvet cover was on our bed as long as he is getting into nice fresh bedding got to admit when we got together he had some awful very man style sets and getting a bigger new bed was a good excuse for me to take them to the charity shop
