To work in a job I dislike for DCs?

I keep going round in circles.

I’ve put ‘dislike’ in my OP, but I don’t absolutely loathe my job. I just find it stressful.

I can work PT but I also want to send DC to private school.

AIBU to work FT so DC have this opportunity?

Op quite often primary age children will go off to different secondary schools but nonetheless can maintain their friendships as they will still live local to each other. I’m not sure why you think children cannot be valued, appreciated and treat as part of a community at a non-private school

That statement wasn’t intended to imply they can’t.

However, I do know that in many schools the discipline is absolutely rigid and over the top. I also know in many more the problem is at the other end of the spectrum.

I know that some schools are brilliant but they are still big and the classes are big.

I know that some things just don’t happen at state schools because of time and money.

Does this mean that it’s automatically worth private school - no. But for me it’s worth giving serious consideration to.
