To think people shouldn't be calling Kanye 'romantic'

Kanye West wants Kim back. She is currently with some bloke called Pete, Kanye up until recently was with a woman called Julia, they've just broken up, no surprise because Kanye has been posting pics of Kim and the kids saying he wants his family back together.

He's now on a crusade to get her back. For valentine's Day he sent a truck of red roses to her house, he's made public declarations of his love on Instagram, has enlisted the "help" of celebrity friends and fans, and is telling his followers to shout KIMYE at Kim and Pete when they see them together.
He's also calling Pete names (Skete?) and generally telling his fans that he's an obstacle.

Last night, Kanye posted screenshots of his messages with Kim where she has asked him to stop doing what he's doing as something bad could happen to Pete and it would be his fault. Kanye's reaction to that was to ask his fans not to hurt Pete, as he was going to hurt him himself. Wtf?

Yet his fans, influencers and celebrity friends are calling him a romantic who just wants his ex wife back, using tag lines such as KimyeForever and trolling Pete. People seem to think it's hilarious and adorable.

Kanye is diagnosed with bipolar, it doesn't sound like he's of a sound mind at the moment, and he's also a massive narc. I'm not a fan of Kim or any of the Kardashians, but this must be really unsettling for her, if it was any normal couple then Kanye would be called abusive and Kim would be on the phone to the police/Woman's Aid

Aibu to think that someone needs to intervene before he does something extreme or encourages his fans to do something extreme?

And a truck load of roses? For people that rich surely it's like me receiving a single rose. Pretty unambitious and cheap tbh. If I were that rich, I'd be expecting a new villa somewhere, minimum

I actually think Kim has grown up a lot and is moving her life in a different direction now eg she is doing a lot of work with assisting prisoners have their cases reviewed because they did not receive a fair trial and she is studying for a law degree to help her with that work.

I cannot understand why Kanye is not under a conservatorship whereas Brittany spears was apart from the patriarchy/misogyny. His actions are incredibly damaging to his children.

YANBU, also it's sexism at its finest - imagine for one moment the script was flipped and a woman was doing this on social media to get her man back? She'd have been sectioned a long long time ago.
Dunno, Alice Evans has been doing pretty similar and she hasn't been sectioned.

Imagine is a nobody on here posted the same story.

I'm divorced, new relationship and ex keeps sending gifts, posting on SM and encouraging others to get involved. Using the children to get back me me etc.

We would all advice to go to the police.

I'm not a Kardashian fan, but she is a human and a mother and the behaviour towards her is frightening and in wrong.

People saying she deserves to get harassed and abused by her ex because she lives out her life on social media are as bad as people who say if that girl didn’t want to get assaulted she shouldn’t have worn that dress. Have a word with yourselves!

Er, it’s exactly the same? They were both actively trying to get people to hurl abuse at Amber Rose and Taylor Swift.

I think he’s unhinged.

He posted this picture on Instagram and captioned it:

“UPON MY WIFE’S REQUEST PLEASE NOBODY DO ANYTHING PHYSICAL TO SKETE IM GOING TO HANDLE THE SITUATION MYSELF.”

If that doesn’t sound like a threat, I don’t know what does.

He’s not a nice person - has always been an egotistical misogynist - but he is also very obviously mentally unwell and surrounded by idiotic yes people, which is a dangerous place to be. I do have some compassion towards him for that.

I think the way both of he and Kim have conducted themselves since they separated is shameful. Both such needy, vain and vacuous people, more concerned with shagging around and photo opps than their large family of very young children.

However, Kanye seems to be veering into criminal territory with this recent behaviour.

Why? She is a notorious attention seeker who lives out her life on social media, they all do. In fact I’d say that the majority of them don’t actually know how to live life normally.

She has the money to get the authorities involved, she has the ability to stop posting her private life all over social media and yet she seemingly hasn’t got the authorities involved and is still posting.

Obviously from what we see of him on SM he’s an abusive twat, so why isn’t she taking steps to have him stopped other than the fact that she’s loving the attention.

Because Kanye also has money? Because past relationships are complicated? Because she has children with this man and she's trying not to alienate him as a parent? Because for a long time she's been victim to his mental health?

And probably because we don't know all that much about what goes on behind the scenes.

Huh, weird, the only reactions I’ve seen are WTF?

It’s not just her he’s been posting about, there’s the whole refusing to play coachella until billie eilish apologises for something she didn’t say, falling out with Cudi and refusing to work with him because he’s friends with Pete Davidson.

He’s also managed to drag Ariana grande and Hilary Clinton into it Confused

She didn’t. But she did release audio of Taylor, taped without her knowledge and encouraged her followers to call her a liar and a snake, and send her the snake emoji on Social media.
Not exactly the same I grant you, but actively encouraging your fan base to abuse someone else in the public eye is still pretty damn disgusting.

When was Kim held at gunpoint? I agree, it’s awful. Why hasn’t she got a restraining order against him?
In Paris a few years ago now. Iirc the hotel receptionist or some worker was involved and masked men came into her hotel room, I think asked her to remove her robe so she was naked (could be wrong on that) and blindfolded her, she thought she was going to die and they held her there for ages and then left after stealing all her jewellery etc. She's spoken about it a few times and you can see how traumatised she's been by it. A quick google will give you the actual facts as opposed to my useless memory!

The stalkerish ‘love bombing’ is bad enough but putting it all over social media is basically inciting violence against Pete. I hope they sue Kanye.

She is choosing to be public property here. She is choosing to live out her life on social media. So what if it’s her job. We need to get beyond this place where posting about your whole life to whoever wants to read about it is considered an occupation.

If she was a normal poster posting here she would be told to block him, get a solicitor and only conduct their business through the solicitor and only in regard to residency of their children.

There is no question that he is unhinged. But she is choosing to stay a part of it by continuing to indulge it on social media.

Nobody seems to give a shit about the kids here.

It's so messed up that anyone is supporting his behaviour, especially when two of his young children were present to witness his behaviour at the football, plus whatever else they are seeing as the children of two of the most famous people in the world.
The guy is sick and is creating a very dangerous environment. The sooner someone is able to get him to accept help the better, but I fear we're a long way from that.

How is she indulging it on social media? I haven't seen any posts from her apart from 1 asking him to speak through lawyers or something, but I could be wrong as I don't follow her.
