I got a lobster biscuits and multicoloured rose, bunch of red roses in a vase, a valentines day balloon, a balloon that's red and says love. Also Indian tea x

I kill flowers unfortunately. And my cat tries to eat them. I want baby#2 this year and i got a promise he’d try his very best to make that happen 🤣.

Nothing, I did some heart themed baking with the DC though so indirectly I got myself a slice or 2 of cake.

DH and I went out for a posh lunch together at our favorite spendy restaurant and bought a valentines day special (pie, cookies, truffles) from our favorite bakery. It was lovely .

DS got me a comedy card and later on some flowers from the supermarket when we were out food shopping this morning. I made us two valentines heart shaped mug mats because I love sewing.

I don’t like Valentine’s Day because I think it’s a load of rubbish and a marketing ploy to make money
However got flowers and steaks! Even though my dh knows I aren’t bothered he still can’t help himself!

All commercial twattery. I did get flowers and a card but really had absolutely no expectations.

A lovely holographic card ( it's really lovely) and some fluffy slippers.
We're having a takeaway tonight with the kids (although we've ordered a bit late and I have a feeling we'll be waiting a while for the delivery so it'll be a late night for the dc)

We have no money - none. He made me a card. The best thing is that there is a job I have to go and do every night 4.30-6pm 7 days a week. He went and did that job for me without asking. I am so happy - no shit job to do and dinner served to me in bed.

A shitty card, with minimal words scribbled inside that I had to nag for!
I'm a hopeless romantic and would be grateful for a piece of paper with a thoughtful note!

DH did get just home and brought me a can of san pellegrino blood orange though. It's the little things that show he thinks of me...

Roses, chocs and a card, tomorrow is our wedding anniversary so we're going for a meal at the weekend too

For the first time ever, a beautiful bunch of flowers delivered but I think that’s more to do with fact I’m poorly with Covid and looking after our DD, whilst he went on a jolly for the weekend 😂

My husband is deployed so I had a lovely delivery of flowers and chocolates

Actually my Valentine’s Day gifts from DH have now been superseded by the “card” my 3 year old made me ❤️ Also by how he says “happy Valentime’s day”, with an m 😍

A dozen red roses and neither of us worked today so we went out for a nice lunch. I got him childhood sweets

Some people have written on here “I don’t need a particular day to know he loves me” And no, neither do we! We just love celebrating, any excuse will do

Then we went out and had Indian for dinner.

I'm single, not dating. Went for lunch with a group of friends and we all got given a rose by one of the group. So that was nice!

Some very fancy little cakes, which is a rare find in gluten free. I made him some Viennese truffles.
