Sir Mark Todd - where’s the outrage? Animal cruelty

Just watched a disgusting video of this man whipping a clearly terrified horse ten times to get it to go into water. Cowardly running back each time so the horse couldn’t kick him to rightfully defend itself from the beating. Total scum.

I hope he will get similar fines/outrage/RSPCA investigations as ongoing for Kurt Zouma.

I'm in the 9%. I can't understand the outrage unless the op is vegan. If the poster is not vegan then this reeks of hypocrisy. You can't claim outrage at animal cruelty if you're happily munching on a corpse for your dinner.

You mean you don't think people should claim outrage if they're not vegan. However, obviously people can, and do, regardless of what you think they should or could do.

Can people really not see the difference between breeding animals for meat/to be killed, and breeding them to be, essentially, pets?! Neither one should be beaten/hurt etc and animals bred to die should have a reasonable life, which is why people should buy from farms and butchers, but obviously there is a difference between the two/what they have been put on the planet to do.

No one should be bred just to die, regardless of how happy their life is. There is no ethical or kind way to kill someone who doesn't want to die.

Obviously this has turned into a weird vegan promotion thread but I'm just going to post this here for anyone who wants a little more balance.
