Will you self isolate if covid positive test?

Compulsory self-isolation is ending if you test positive with covid. Instead, people are being advised to choose to self-isolate.
In reality, I think many people will not. I would not get paid if I self-isolate but am well enough to work, so why would I forego a week's wages?

That’s ok when it crosses the border we still legally have to wear masks here .

Yes, I will in the same way I wouldn't go to work/go around breathing on people with the flu or shingles.

I won't be quite as strict about it - I'll go out for a walk etc - but as I have the capacity and job flexibility to be able to keep my germs away from people when I'm infectiously ill (with any illness), I think morally I should.

Thankfully my business partners feel the same and we've always had a blanket 'please don't come to the office if you're not well' rule. I'd be just as pissed off if someone brought their norovirus into the office as I would covid.

Yes I’m sure if many had the luxury of job flexibility they would stay home too . Sadly we are all not afforded that luxury .
