How many takeaways?!

I'm wondering if my husband and I are over indulging and it would be good to know if we are normal or not

How many takeaways do you and your DP (not DC) have per week / month? 🤫

Once a month if that

One every two weeks. Usually Chinese or Indian. It lasts for lunch the next day, so we don't feel too bad about the price. Spend around £30.

We always get a dominos when we have a hangover so probably once a month or every other month. We have an amazing Greek place that we get from every few weeks too. So I’d say 2 a month. Delicious but I’m working hard to get a good figure for my wedding so it’s not worth it!

About 3-4 times a year. However, we live in the arse end of nowhere so our nearest take out is about ten miles away and we just can’t be arsed to drive 20 miles for cold food. When we were students it was more like once or twice a week (and we were much heavier 🤣).

Averages out at about once a month. Usually resorted to when I'm exceptionally tired from work/family commitments.

About one every two years!

Once a week, either a Friday or Saturday. Thai, curry, sushi, Greek...
We also eat out once a week at least.

We've had one since Christmas but had three in December. It is dependent entirely on how busy I am and is a convenience rather than a treat.

About 1 every 6 months or so, more often if i have visitors to stay.

Never. Although will get a fresh pizza in Tesco that needs cooking in oven about once every three months.

1 - 2 a month on a Friday. Sometimes more as we have a tendency to get one if with have both had a shitty day in the week. We used to get one every single Friday and had to cut down as it was costing a fortune!

Probably 2-3x per week (sometimes less) but not your proper dirty takeaway type places for the most part - we have a really nice Hawaiian inspired place that does these lovely rice bowls and buffalo cauliflower which is amazing. We probably get takeout from there once a week.

In my defence I have a 4 month old baby who will not be put down!

Maybe one takeaway every week/two weeks but we eat out multiple times a week 😬

Once per month, as a pay day treat. Sometimes twice per month if we've had a really busy weekend day and the kids are exhausted and I'm not feeling like cooking.
I could easily use takeaways more often, but I do wonder how people afford it more often

We have one maybe every 2-3 months. Most of the time after we have one I feel like it was a waste of money and not even that nice. I’d rather have fish fingers/equivalent if I don’t feel like cooking.

We have kebab fridays at the moment.

None!

We probably only eat out at restaurants maybe 4 times a year.

Uber eats every Friday.

Max twice a month. Usually one fish and chips, one curry

Every couple of months or so. Not that keen on the takeaways around here, except a fab new Indian but it's rather expensive.

About 5 times a year

Always curry or fish n chips

Either as a celebration or in emergency

Once a month but when summer comes we'll switch to eating put once a month instead.
