Hi all,

I got my Covid Vaccine today and rang my husband on the way home to tell him how it went. When on the phone he made a joke about how he had been crying as now we wouldn’t be able to have children. I then told him that it wasn’t a funny joke and that he had hurt my feelings. Needless to say he didn’t take it well and said he was only making a joke , it’s not his fault that I don’t have a sense of humour Hmm.

So who is being unreasonable ?

If he is an antivaxer and really does think your fertility is affected then it's not a joke at all is it?

GSOH used to be a top 5 feature in singles ads...

You don’t talk with people close to you, in the day about things you are doing? Your life sounds sad and lonely.

How is that the same as phoning someone especially to tell them how your vaccination went? Confused

He's laughing at people who have ridiculous conspiracy theories about vaccines. That would make me chuckle a bit (but maybe not if I was either hormonal or trying to conceive.)

Why is it not funny? Are you trying for children? Then no.
If you're not then it was just a light-hearted poke at the ex-chief scientist of Pfizer who claimed it could affect fertility.

I know a few midwives who haven’t been vaxed as they’re worried about potential fertility issues. Who knows if they’re right or wrong?
