So normally I’m a bit heartless and not one to cry at programmes at all, but I was flicking through Disney+ today and ended up watching The Rescue. Amazing programme and of course here I am bloody bawling about it at the end.

What did you last watch that made you cry?

Belfast - Kenneth Branagh’s new film. A masterpiece of storytelling and cinematography.

Figgygal · 30/01/2022 20:21

Last episode of afterlife i cried from the first song in the credits, had to leave the room at another point but made it to the end with another bout of ugly crying

PrivateParty · 30/01/2022 20:23

I cry at everything.
I cried watching 'a place in the sun' today haha
Cried a wee tiny bit at Sing 2 yesterday too...

Flabbyflabberghasted · 30/01/2022 20:23

Last episode of series 3 of After life. Totally sobbing

SequinnedShawl · 30/01/2022 20:23

The ending of Cool Runnings (film) does it for me every time. I cried in Spooks when Ruth died. I cried listening to The Archers when Scruff was found. I always think I'll be ok then tears are streaming and DH asks "are you ok?"

I really must buy shares in Kleenex. The price would rocket!! Grin

Motherland S3 when Meg gets certain results in the third series. Was not a big cry just welled up. I big cry at a lot but I can't think what right now 🙈

@RightOnTheEdge

Spiderman, No Way Home! I was trying not to cry so my kids didn't laugh at me but it made my chest ache.
Same, finally went to see it yesterday and it got me twice.

I've been binging Greys anatomy for the first time, it's made me cry so much. I'm upto season 17 the one set in covid and it keeps making me cry with how surreal it is.

hartof · 30/01/2022 20:46

@Meandthesky

Watched season 17 of Greys Anatomy and season 4 of the spin off Station 19 and cried repeatedly at both, when I’m not normally a crier at tv or films. They’re the seasons that cover the first part of the covid pandemic and Black Lives Matter and are difficult watching but well done
Yes the BLM episode has made me cry too. Station 19 is next on my list
Blossomtoes · 30/01/2022 20:47

Afterlife. The last episode turned me into a puddle.

ProudThrilledHappy · 30/01/2022 20:49

I just remembered the starling on Netflix had me in tears a few weeks back. Obviously I’m not as hard hearted as I thought!

I never ever really cry at tv or films or anything, but The last time I can remember I did was 22nd September 2020, I had gone into labour with my 3rd child ( slow labour) my other two children had gone to my parents and I was sorting out laundry watching a random episode of modern family where one character was looking back at another as a child and how fast life really goes and I was hysterical 😩😂 hormones and all that!

Signoramarella · 30/01/2022 20:51

The father on amazon prime. Riveting. Mesmerising. Anthony Hopkins and Olivia Coleman. Not wept in ages ...this had me

RedFlagsAllOver · 30/01/2022 20:52

Afterlife. I started watching it when my dad was diagnosed with dementia, then started watching again after dad passed away. It's had me sobbing throughout

Apparently if you have a parent with dementia it’s an impossible watch.
