So normally I’m a bit heartless and not one to cry at programmes at all, but I was flicking through Disney+ today and ended up watching The Rescue. Amazing programme and of course here I am bloody bawling about it at the end.

What did you last watch that made you cry?

Lookforwardtosummer · 30/01/2022 19:47

Also went to see Belfast at the cinema on Friday evening, brilliant and sad at the same time

Iamuhtredsonofuhtred · 30/01/2022 19:48

Maid made me cry floods. Probably because her horrible boyfriend reminded me so much of my horrible ex husband

SeeminglyOblivious · 30/01/2022 19:56

Afterlife 3

GrandTheftWalrus · 30/01/2022 19:57

I cried at Anne as well. Both the mini series and the documentary.

Tbf since I had my 2nd child I can cry at anything. I dunno what's she's done to me!

CornishTiger · 30/01/2022 19:57

It doesn’t take a lot to make me cry at moment ( grief) but I was watching after life series 3 and the scene from the Childrens hospice got me hard.

'Derek' with Ricky Gervais

billydilly · 30/01/2022 20:05

The new film Mass on Sky. The expression of yearning and grief on Ann Dowd's lovely face just about finished me off.

Tinimineymoo · 30/01/2022 20:06

My father's violin on netflix

Jobseeker19 · 30/01/2022 20:07

A bbc breakfast segment about bed poverty for children.
A head teacher started a charity because some of her pupils didn't have a bed to sleep in, they were sleeping on sofas bean bags etc.
I didnt even know this was a thing. My children were sleeping on crappy camp beds and my 6 year old with me for a long time. I just got on with it and saved until I could buy a bed.
It made me realise that I experienced this and a lot of other family still are.

CombatBarbie · 30/01/2022 20:10

The end of James bond!!

RealLemons · 30/01/2022 20:13

Many years ago, And then there was one, it is utterly heartbreaking.

ghostyslovesheets · 30/01/2022 20:16

Pride - again!

Had an utterly shit Friday - was stressed at work, had some bad new at home and was in a foul mood - it's always makes me laugh, get righteously angry and cry buckets - perfect therapy

YourTruthorMine · 30/01/2022 20:16

The Father on Amazon Prime

ghostyslovesheets · 30/01/2022 20:17

@billydilly

The new film Mass on Sky. The expression of yearning and grief on Ann Dowd's lovely face just about finished me off.
That was brilliant - such a quiet dignified film - yes Anne Dowd is fabulous
30not13 · 30/01/2022 20:17
