So normally I’m a bit heartless and not one to cry at programmes at all, but I was flicking through Disney+ today and ended up watching The Rescue. Amazing programme and of course here I am bloody bawling about it at the end.

What did you last watch that made you cry?

OP posts:
PinkSyCo · 30/01/2022 18:33

The recording of little Arthur crying that nobody loved him. God rest his wee soul xxx

UnsuitableHat · 30/01/2022 18:36

Went to see West Side Story yesterday and blubbed a couple of times

Cecillie · 30/01/2022 18:36

bonetiredwithtwins · 30/01/2022 18:37

E.T - hadn't seen it in years until it was on over Xmas 😢

GrouchyKiwi · 30/01/2022 18:38

New Amsterdam. I cry watching every episode, which is why I don't watch it very often.

Baconking · 30/01/2022 18:39

@hopelessatthinkingupusernames

This Is Us. I hardly ever cry at this but I’ve teared up at this several times! I’m only up to series 3 so probably got a lot more tears to come!
Yes you have.

I watched the most recent episode yesterday and cried like I do most weeks

Baconking · 30/01/2022 18:41

@Youneverknow101

The dog house, my god I have cried at every episode!
Oh yes! I cried this week when the little girl's stepdad was choking up Sad
Darbs76 · 30/01/2022 18:41

The play Leopoldstadt

fedup078 · 30/01/2022 18:43

I watched Irreplaceable You last night and bawled like a baby

TotheletterofthelawTHELETTER · 30/01/2022 18:43

Thursday - the most recent ep of This is Us.
Friday - watching a Holocaust survivor talking about his portrait and revealing his number tattoo on bbc news.

Pinchofnom · 30/01/2022 18:44

Anne. It really stuck a chord. The poor victims and the families. Beautifully depicted I thought

AKASammyScrounge · 30/01/2022 18:46

Call the Midwife. Every time a baby is born I'm cheering the Mum on and when baby arrives I can't see for tears.

LondonReturner · 30/01/2022 18:47

Probably Don't Look Up. It was very funny in places, but the final scene, where they are eating dinner, knowing the comet is about to hit, and the young man says a prayer and then Leo says something like: "We really did almost have everything, didn't we?" I was in FLOODs.

Jellycatspyjamas · 30/01/2022 18:47

@shakinsti I saw Sing 2 this afternoon with the kids and was tearful too - fabulous movie.

ouch321 · 30/01/2022 18:48

The Windermere Children on iplayer made me a bit teary

LondonReturner · 30/01/2022 18:48

But - like a PP - I cry at books, films, and TV relatively frequently, and at real life tragedy not at all.

shakinsti · 30/01/2022 18:50

@Jellycatspyjamas Yes I thought it was amazing!

windowstothesoul · 30/01/2022 18:52

The last episode of After Life - was on bits -

Hbh17 · 30/01/2022 18:52

"Belfast", in the cinema last week.

If I want to guarantee that I'll cry, it's got to be the ending of " Paddington 2".

RandomUsernameHere · 30/01/2022 18:55

Rafa Nadal winning the Australian Open today!

Mix56 · 30/01/2022 18:56

"Still Alice", (the book was even more vivid) My dad had Alzheimers, so hit a nerve

Fileexplorerrrr · 30/01/2022 18:56

The latest episode of This is us 🥲

Patienceandgrace · 30/01/2022 18:57

@AuntyClem

The end of the third series of Afterlife.
Yes. I made it through the first 5 episodes without crying but the last episode had me in bits.
