I want an affordable hard back A3 notebook with lined paper that is thick enough to write on both sides. It needs a pen holder. Not too thick or thin and not spiral bound. Not ugly.
I've been looking for months and can I find one?!

What things are you searching for that really shouldn't be this hard to find?

Paper instruction manuals. I just got a slow cooker which is really complicated and the instructions are online - on YouTube. I want paper written instructions - with words.
Or even worse; I just bought a Whirlpool microwave from amazon, and the instructions (on-line too) are all in German.

A toaster that can toast a whole slice of normal sized bread.
Yes and at the same time not be retro-chic large and bulky.

Toaster size has grown in inverse proportion to toasting size.

Colourful long sleeve vests for babies - everything seems to be either white/some shade of light brown or blue or pink.

astorsback · 31/01/2022 13:52

Things in smaller packets for single people.

Decent silky modal/no VPL knickers with a high waist and high legs.

The old Genie bras. Lovely and soft, stretchy but supportive (32E) breathable. Any searches now lead to cheap scratchy knock-offs with foam padding.

A biscuit coloured fitted single breasted blazer jacket with slanted, hidden pockets and a narrow lapel, made of wool/cotton with a hint of stretch.

@Graphista

Yes the adjustable waist ones are good but I’ve struggled to find them for older ages 10-11 recently 😔 it’s so annoying that there isn’t a better range of sizes in school clothes. Just like adults kids are all different shapes so why is there often only one option per age!

Kanaloa · 31/01/2022 14:15

And it’s also the overall baginess if the child has long legs - if you want them to be long enough they’re just too baggy.

Scandibugs, Toby tiger, frugi all do them but frustratingly expensive. Asda used to but not for a while. Next has good short sleeve ones in but haven't seen the long sleeve for a couple of months. I have the same problem, very frustrating.

A boys name for fast approaching DS

Sgtmajormummy · 31/01/2022 16:23

Those trying to find trousers for tall, slim people.
My beanpole nephew can buy Sainsbury’s own brand “slim” model trousers straight off the rack.
Envy

Comfortable but elegant and fashionable summer sandals that I can wear all day.

I love my Texas but they are fugly - which is fine while they are fashionable - but I have no idea how I will ever be able to move on from them.

Sgtmajormummy · 31/01/2022 16:27

Should have said “long” model.

M313 · 31/01/2022 17:46

Sister Agatha
I’ve had a Cadbury’s boost this month.
January ‘22. I’m in the uk. I think I bought a pack of 3 in Lidl or Aldi…

Ateka · 31/01/2022 17:53

Garlic chives, nowhere to be found. Anyone?

Broccolliandcabbage · 31/01/2022 17:58

Really comfortable ( jersey) non clingy but not too baggy long ish tops that are suitable for the larger chested lady ( have been looking for a nice ruched top to hide my mum tum too) The only ones I can find seem to be in horrid material and make ones cleavage obscene! ( 38e)

Bubbles90 · 31/01/2022 18:00

Zoggs or Wiggle do a good selection of swimwear.

WeirdlyKind · 31/01/2022 18:01

Try these: www.landsend.co.uk/Womens_Long_Sleeve_Cotton-modal_Scoop_Neck_T-shirt/pp/P_34767.html?cgid=11301&dwvar_P__34767_color=RCT

I'm extremely large of boob and find them extremely comfortable and flattering!

Angelil · 31/01/2022 18:01

A normal white shirt for women. No silly frilly collar or cuffs. No ridiculous 1/2 or 3/4 length sleeves. Just a normal boring shirt that is long enough in the body. How hard can it be??

Bitofachinwag · 31/01/2022 18:01

Comfy warm cotton tights for adults with fun patterns.

KirstenBlest · 31/01/2022 18:02

@Ateka , I have some in the garden but I think I bought it as a plant. Ones i grew from seed packets weren't the same

Yes. Why are they too small?
MrsMarni · 31/01/2022 18:08

100% cotton sport socks..

Fluffmum · 31/01/2022 18:14

I’ve just bought a pack of 4 in my corner shop. Asdas sell them as well

Kittysummer · 31/01/2022 18:14

The Russell hobbs 3 in 1 panini press is great for cheese toasties

Ateka · 31/01/2022 18:18

Why does not any supermarket sell them? Strange! Looked for them, Everywhere

pollymere · 31/01/2022 18:19

I can usually find things like that in The Range. Or how about this one that can have a pen holder? jpschesham.com/shop/product/leuchtturm-a6-notebook-hardcover/
