I find no comedy funny for 15 years h has tried to get me to laugh at python morcombe and wise I’ve never laughed and never will. Sitcoms don’t make me laugh either.

I 'grew up' with Coogan and Partridge so he's part of the furniture. Sometimes he's so funny I'm crying laughing ('y'never had a cup o' beans?'), and sometimes not so hot (dreadful live tour in the 2000s).

If I came to him cold as a younger person today I've no idea if I'd get it! We'd all the 80s Wogan, sports anchor type references that mightn't mean much today.

I don't like Monty Python at all , John Cleese is annoying and they were all stuck up types who thought they were funnier than they were.
I know people love them though !

Alan Partridge is amazing! I didn't grow up watching him and was a bit confused when I first watched it, but quickly concluded that it's absolutely genius. I'm currently listening to yet another Alan audiobook and I'm crying with laughter.
